It will be interesting to see a comparison between Blue Peter and Tonado, hopefully this year!
It certainly will. 🙂

Good video Jake :)
Thanks Simon, glad you enjoyed it. Kind regards, Jake.
Lovely stuff jake! Was hoping you’d be out for it. I was stuck at work :( That chime whistle is special isn’t it Regards, Liam
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it, It certainly sounds good. 🙂
Where is this train located?
The engine is based at Crewe at Locomotive Service Limited and is owned by Jeremy Hosking.
Great to see ya mate. Guessing you did not beat it to Stafford in the end then?
I did beat it, but it didn't stop as originally pathed. So I wasn't able to level my tripod it time before it passed through.
@@JakeBSteam at least you saw it mate
Looks like Gordon in real life!
@@danielsellers8707 Not quite, but I can understand why you’d think that, I believe Gordon was loosely modelled on a LNER A1/A3 Pacific like Flying Scotsman.
Someone put Moe from The Simpsons on the front of the smokebox?! XD
Yup, they did
