I think is important to understand first that this series came out at the very beginning when Marvel began to introduce the idea of the multiverse, so it wasn't the crazy thing that it is today, so when it came out it was very entertaining to see different versions of characters that you already know and loved and think what would have become of them without the weight of whether they would be part of the MCU or not, just enjoy the story. Also, justice for Hayley, she deserves much more attention for being Carter, not only here but in the Agent Carter series, she's a character that did a lot in history and is very easily forgotten.
One detail i love about episode 1 is that, because Peggy got the tesseract from Hydra, you can see they use normal weapons instead of the weapons they had in Captain America 1.
I know your guys list is so long, but if you like Captain Carter here, I'd really recommend the Agent Carter show, it's more on spy angle. I think you're enjoy it!

I know reactors are usually lukewarm on it, but I love the Captain Carter episode. Because she was in healthier shape than Steve when she got the serum and thanks to the magic of animation (the medium superheroes always shine best in but studios refuse to put faith in) her feats as Cap are way more ridiculous and fun. All Evans got 90% of the time were some hand-to-hand fight scenes, which were great and all but with What If showing me how Cap could be, it makes me a little peeved lowkey lol. The closest we ever got was Steve taking down that one quinjet in Winter Soldier😭

I think that ya'll are nitpicking Sebastian Stan for his so-called cheese. Thats the way they talked and joked during that time. Go look at any movie and tv show during those days it was filled with jokes and phrases like Sebastian was saying. Go back and re-watch band of brothers and you'll see jokes like that in the series. Too many reactors now look thru the lenses of 2024 sensibilities to judge the past. And remember this is a more fleshed out version of bucky than the one you got in the original movie even though its 30 minutes. And this one he never became the winter soldier. Also the what if stories has been around since the 1970's and a lot of what you've watched when it comes to the mcu started from what if stories. Thor having a sister,Peter parker having a daughter, intelligent hulk,spider Gwen, female Thor among other things you've seen in the MCU has been introduced in the pages of what if.

Captain Carter is a version of Agent Carter that was created in the Marvel Puzzle Quest mobile game. She’s gone rapidly into comics, TV animation and live action movies.
Very fun show. I like the variety, there's a bit for everyone in there and some great visuals. Which get even more cinematic in S2. What if released right after Loki S1, when the multiverse was still a newer concept for the MCU which just got opened up. In these first ones: I really like Howard Stark and the action of Captain Carter. And then getting to see Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa one more time even if it's a variant.
❤This father/son relationship was so much better than the original. It's so amazing how relationships and situations can change depending attitudes and how you go about fixing problems.
It was great to have the two Black Pathers/T'Challa's have dialog together. Djimon Honsou voiced him in an old animated series and Chadwick Boseman in live-action.

DOG SOLDIERS is definitely the movie for you guys. Perfect for Halloween and a great film ---- it would suit you guys perfectly. By far the best movie in it's genre ( you can probably guess by the title what is about ). Horror + fun + action, a great film. Enjoy.
@@Andjelka99 The direction taken in the second half of Season 2 was annoying. They just couldn't help themselves. I only hated one episode in Season 1 (the Thor one), and I thought only one episode in Season 2 was better or even just on par with most episodes in Season 1.
The one thing I'll disagree on is your live-action voice focus. Yes it is fun, if they are also good voice actors and most are. But there are (voice) actors who have played these characters for many years too, in animated shows and games, who are just as iconic to many people and do a fantastic job. So to me it is not a requirement and everyone they chose for the actors they couldn't get does a fantastic job.
I understand the issues u might have with the "what if" part. But i more sad whenever i see one of those. Cuz like for the ep 2, if it's not like the main time line, it's kinda doomed or too much ppl will die. Some will still save the day, but i think the timeline we were introduced is one with the fewest deaths. But i'm still not caught up with Loki s2, What if S2 so i can't say anything about those. I still feel the pain of losing a character, or even more so in the what if, cuz the premises are sometimes so hopeful, then we just dive into despair D:

The one thing I'll disagree on is your live-action voice focus. Yes it is fun, if they are also good voice actors and most are. But there are (voice) actors who have played these characters for many years too, in animated shows and games, who are just as iconic to many people and do a fantastic job. So to me it is not a requirement and everyone they chose for the actors they couldn't get does a fantastic job.
I understand the issues u might have with the "what if" part.
But i more sad whenever i see one of those. Cuz like for the ep 2, if it's not like the main time line, it's kinda doomed or too much ppl will die. Some will still save the day, but i think the timeline we were introduced is one with the fewest deaths.
But i'm still not caught up with Loki s2, What if S2 so i can't say anything about those.
I still feel the pain of losing a character, or even more so in the what if, cuz the premises are sometimes so hopeful, then we just dive into despair D:
