I just got a PF card the other day. The place is clean, no idiots running around hollering, the massage table is awesome. For $20 you can't beat it. While it might not have what a hardcore weightlifter is looking for, it has what the average person will ever need.
You're correct! I know many people there that are very strong and cut. I've seen over 400lb flat bench by a natural bodybuilder and some big guys come daily.
lmao this gym sucks. it has free friday pizza...... a fucking gym that gives out free pizza.... you cant drop heavy weight so that means your not working out to your full potential, you cant "grunt" so that means no proper breathing and no pushing your self. I love this gym an they did not pay me to say this ..... this place gave me the motivation to work out me as a single 2 kids mom an work an im 29 an look young I like I can just do sessions for 30 minutes each day and different sessions and I don’t need a trainer because it teaches you there then after massage and tan unlimited so cheap im thank full cuz I can’t afford to pay more I thank God for that I went from 176 lb.to 106 lb. in 18 months I totally recommend it for people that can’t afford to pay $300 a week or month an people to like to save

i’m trying to decide on a gym right now. the only reason i’m not 100% leaning toward PF is the fact that they don’t offer any kind of hour-long group fitness classes such as zumba. i know they have the small group session type things, but i’m looking to try more of a zumba type or group hiit class in the entire rooms. i may still go with PF after watching this. i like the tanning feature lol.
Ok I’m 48 yrs old and 6’5” and weigh 343lbs. I needed a gym bad but I have horrible knees because of yrs of football and 12 knee surgeries. My town just got a PF and I finally checked it out today. It was really cool I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all. Hopped on the treadmill for 40 minutes then did 10 minutes on the step machine (omg) then 15 minutes on the bike. The showers and locker room looked clean now all I have to do is commit to doing this 3-4 times a week for 6 months then I’ll reevaluate. Lol. Wish me luck

We weren't greeted upon entry, and when we ask about how to make it our new home gym, the guy answered in not friendly way, "just go online." and looked away. When I and my dad left, they did not even look and say "thanks for coming." For the record, our home gym at Richmond, CA provides excellent customer service. We are greeted there everytime, and it is just a simple way to let customers have a nice workout and even a nice day. I think that could be why when we arrive at the El Sobrante branch today, it looked very empty. Not recommending that particular Planet Fitness location at El Sobrante, CA due to poor customer service. The one at Richmond, CA is much better.
Nowadays you need someone to turn on the spa machines for you prior to usage. This is why I wish the amenities were still coin-operated and I bet staff does too as they have to work a little extra now
