      Most of the deep water is on the north-central side of the forest. Most of the water is around Impassable Bay and Buckhead swamp. If you steer clear of those areas, most of the roads in the forest are pretty basic, as long as you stay on the main ones.

    My question @Defiant Offraod is have you ever been up and down through
    Or across The Apalachicola National Forest and its back roads and bi ways. There are many upon many a miles of it. I was born and raised there on the northen egde of Lake Talquin which divides Leon And Gadsden Counties along with the Great OCKLOKNEE RIVER WHICH ON THE BOTTOM END OF THE LAKE SETS A DAMN.T his damn was built on like the TRI-COUNTY LINE OF LIBERTY, GADSDEN AND LEON IT IS A SMAL HYDRO-ELECTRIC DAMN. UNLIKW THE ONE ON THE GA, FL, AL, STATE LINE.
    IT ALSO IS A
    HYDRO ELECTRIC DAMN JUST MUCH MUCH LARGER THAN THE AFFOR MENTIONED.WHICH OF COARSE RUN 2 THE OCKLOKNEE BAY.. There's 1,000's of miles along both sides of that River as well as THE EVER SO POPULR SUWANEE RIVER. NOT TO MENTION WHAT A LOT of ppl used to call the Chattahoochee which is located NORTH OF THE FLORIDA LINE , BUT THE REFERENCED RIVER IS THE APALACHICOLA RIVER.. I THINK I NEED TO LEAVE THE REST OF THIS TO THE EXXXPLORES including the great FORT GADSDEN.

      I've only passed through the Apalachicola National Forest. It's on my list of places to explore though. I want to complete the Florida Adventure Trail this year, so that and Blackwater are on the list for this year.

    I live close to the forest and I think it’s boring it’s the same thing over and over again. If you are going to do this you need a wench and snorkel.

    • @jku4488-eh3kd
      @jku4488-eh3kd Год назад +1

      There's nothing boring about it, if you're there to see the forest. You can do most of Osceola in a honda, and for the worst parts, knowing how to navigate deep water and knowing your limits will get you way further than a winch or snorkel.

    • @DefiantOffroad

      @@jku4488-eh3kdyour statement is never the less somewhat true. But 1 can still never see the ruts that were dug by trucks with taller tires, once you go down road, they go down road, a badddd rain storm comes through. The very next day you say, I want to go play. You get in truck end up stuck ruts are 2ft. Deep. You wonder what in God's name came through here!!! IT'S dark mercey water i can't see well, phone dead, truck out of gas, now i guess it's time for me take long walk or sit here on my mmmmm A$$ ... WHAT DO YOU DO? GATORS& SNAKES YOUR IN A DEEP MUD YIUR CELL IS DEAD TRUCK IS OUT OF GAS?
