- In this video, we'll give you an insight as to what we use while we're on the road as well as some new plans for the (Near) future. Storm chasing is and will remain something that's highly dangerous. Please do not attempts or replicate anything we do as this requires extensive knowledge and training. There is no such thing as a professional chaser and even veteran chasers learn every single day.
We also have a website: hardhills-chas...
Thank you Rens for the thumbnail / @justrens .
Finally we have storm chasers in Europe🎉 Nice tour mate!
Thank you very much! There's a decent amount of chasers out here, but not many who adopted an American chase style
Nice tour of your chase vehicle
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it!
Your welcome
Zag jullie vandaag, goed engels man...hardenberg rocks😂
Can you make a video for the mount of the weather station, such as making the mount?
The start of the 3 day chase video includes footage of when we first made it, though it doesn't include the antenna being added. The while thing kinda needs a refresh though
@@hardhillschasers9466 We are going to add a Davis Station this summer, I’m think I’m going to get some PVC pipe and clamps and a roof rack, etc.
Oh that sounds nice! The Davis stations definitely are better than this, but I can't help but wonder why everyone in the US is using PVC. I feel like hail and branches might tear it apart, if the wind doesn't do it already, hence we used steel
PVC isn’t that bad. It’s pretty strong in my opinion, as long as you stay out of the main storm core you’ll be fine
Oh that's good! Definitely cheaper, too! Always like it when people are working on their cars, especially chasers. They come up with some awesome stuff
Casual chainsaw in the back 😂
Yeah, Jeffry has been part of the team since extra tropical cyclone Eunice. Never needed him though, luckily
Toppers groeten vanuit West Vlaanderen van in elzendamme daarnet
Groetjes!

Das crazy, my birthday is on 29 oct loo
Ay lesgooo
at 4:40 thats like a imax camera on tiv
That's the best comment we've heard on the dome so far! Maybe we could make the rotating meganism of the camera electric like the TIV 2 haha
What is the name of that phone holder (suction cup on windshield @ 2:27 )?
It's some random brandless phone holder, don't recommend this one though
@@hardhillschasers9466 Oh ok then, tnx.
Aye, is that the Beam Monitor 5:17
Yes it is! But now in its natural habitat
Hey I think I've seen this guy before
Have you now?
i know this is a long shot, could i have the link to the weather website you use?
Could you provide us with a timestamp to the time where we show the one you mean?
What prove is it

The weather station is a Bresser 5in1 wifi. It's cheap and simple to set up, though isn't the greatest for storm chasing
Lmao. You chasing thunderstorms ?
Like always the U.s does it bigger and better.
Bro we have t.o.r.n.a.d.o.s haha
We got tornadoes as well, believe it or not. We'll chase anything that interests us
I just worry about people chasing in these little economy cars, sure they're cheap but you can't put a price on your life.
We understand your concerns, but in our country (The Netherlands) driving a heavy 4x4 or other large car really isn't affordable anymore. Gas prices are more than 2 euro per liter, taxes for heavy cars are at least 5x more expensive and insurances at least 3x. We don't want to chase in a 850kg car so my choice went to a intermediate car. Unfortunately there is no other option until some money is made with storm chasing.
A quick conversion in case you're from the United States: gas is about $9.60/gallon
@@hardhillschasers9466 good lord! Nearly $10 a gallon is insane! Here it's $2.90 which is still a lot higher than it needs to be.
Yeah it really be like that sometimes.. It's the main reason people drive inline 4 engines, rather than V8s. Though we don't drive into tornadoes and generally don't take gravel roads, so 100hp and front wheel drive will do for us. In the United States, it's better to go with All wheel drive for cars and 4x4 for trucks, as well as more power and better tires/ride height due to the road conditions and longer distances driven
