Thanks for posting this gem!! I love these vintage films of the NFL, from a time some of us hold in awe, miss, and cherish. Sometimes we cherish that time period because of the ancillary memories these films evoke: the music, culture and clothing styles of that era for example. Thanks again.
This Dolphins vs. Saints game was the very first that I attended at the Miami Orange 🍊 Bowl while living in Miami Beach. I still have the original “Pro!” program with the Marvel characters on the front cover. This game marked the beginning of my seething hatred for the Dolphins 🐬 and their lousy fans. I was 12 years-old at the time and have always hated them ever since.
@7:53, with 9 seconds on the clock, the quarterback does a roll out, decides to run for it, and scores the game winning touchdown. He then calmly turns around and hands the ball to the ref, unlike nowadays where you would have had idiots gyrating, dry-humping, and acting like thugs. I miss the 60's, 70's.
Dallas lost 38-0 to St. Louis on Monday night to drop to 5-4 two games behind the Cardinals. The Cowboys would not lose again until Super Bowl V in a controversial game.

The win by Miami was the first of a 50-7-1 record over a 58 game stretch.
That's impressive

5:00 Hey, let's put a chain-link fence in the end zone. What could go wrong?
