This video was very lovely to watch! Thanks Sophia...
Love the Mamiya shots on learning face down on the black hand rail
Thank you so much! Those are my favourite Mamiya shots from this shoot
@@SophiaCarey I really like the Kodak Gold shots in the swing & the digitals throughout were great too. The Portra colours out of the Fuji looked a little muted, am I imagining that?
Such mastery of your craft to be able to get so many fantastic images across different formats & such a range of cameras
Thank you so much! Not sure Id agree with that compliment 🤣 but I appreciate it nevertheless!
@@SophiaCarey I’d definitely have underexposed the Kodak Gold because I’d have gotten forgetful that it wasn’t Portra 800
@@SophiaCarey great photographers don't let themselves be limited by gear, they overcome it. Best examples are cheap camera challenges with pro photographers, like this one:
ruclips.net/video/uv0n52-ncmg/видео.html
And Andreas Feininger once wrote he knew a world-famous photographer with only one camera (probably Cartier-Bresson, although at one point he owned 3) and an amateur with lots of gear that never took a good pic all his life.
This is one of my favourite ever videos. You are so talented Sophia
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it
So so good. Thanks for the inspiration!
Such an epic collab as always my favourite shots are the ones where Ellis in on the swings hanging such good timing! Can’t wait To share the fashion video soon on my channel! Thanks for having me as always 🥳🎉
Thank you so much! Always a pleasure working with you. Can’t wait for everyone to see your video! ✨
I’ll keep my eyes peeled for it on your channel Iz 👀
Amazing video to watch Sophia!! Love the outcomes 👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you so much!
The shots are really good, well done! the motion blur and the ones on the swing were my favourite ones.
Thank you so much! Those are my favourites too.
Love these raw style videos, seeing it hands on is so helpful for anyone wanting to get into portraits. Love the photo at 8:55
Thank you so much! I’m glad you think so!
8:22 my favorite out of the bunch . Great stuff
Thank you!
Great video Sophia, Currently I own the sony A7r4 for my beauty work, A7s3 for video, A74 to shoot and vlog daily and the Fiji x100v for ig content. I've been thinking about the rz67 to get into film...this video did it for me. Thank you for the content! Film over digital any day!
Thank you so much!! There are loads of great film cameras if you’re just looking to get started, but the RZ is a beaut!
Excellent work, love my GA645 it is so versatile (and small/lightweight for MF), one of my favourite cameras, a giant P+S with full manual control.
Thank you so much! Still getting used to the GA645 (especially the autofocus) but loving it so far, although moreso for street and less for portraits at the moment
@@SophiaCarey Not the widest aperture lens, but it is sharp! Headshot/Shoulder shots at F4 where you get in close can be good, but perhaps not so good for fuller body shots. Godd for environmental portraits where the background needs to be in focus though.
Love this video! Photo at 8:56 😍
Thank you so much!
The amount of gear you brought with you 😭 photos are 🔥
Hahhaa trust me 😭 and thank you so much!
16:37 long video and not one miss perfect photos!!
Thank you so much!!!
do you use presets on your sony A7III? as in for the digital shots?
Yes I do! My own presets which I sell through the shop on my website
The audio had a weird echo.
Unfortunately, especially at the beginning, we had too much external noise to clean it up properly and have a completely clear audio track! Apologies for that
@Sophia Carey I was watching the video on my TV. I think that’s why I noticed it.
You need to be more confident with your direction 😂 seems like you weren't even confident with your own directions. Models feed off of that
