@@dumbboy7326 that on the top frame where the camera is there is also a slider that covers it. Sometimes it is covered and that's why the camera doesn't work ;)

This is embarrassing, but my husband told me to slide to the right at the top near the red spot. Red for off, mine is grey for on, my husbands is green. All that carry one downloading drives that in the end didn't work and it came down to the slide at the top.
I resolved the problem! I went into the "Device Manager". Under "Cameras" I right-clicked on my camera and went into "Properties". Then I went in to "Driver" and pressed "Roll Back Driver". Hope this helps!

That thing to slide is barely seen. After trying to fix how to make the camera work for hours, I just slid that stupid thing next to the camera.

Yes,my laptop has a button to switch on/off camera, I just press it to switch on the camera
