I used to have an BMW F30 35d. I loved it to bits. But, even then, finding roads where the full 320bhp could be deployed without either getting a ticket, or shattering the suspension on a pot hole was near enough impossible. On the daily commute of school drop off, work, gym, town traffic, etc. it’d be very hard to really justify the A45, other than purely for the fact it’s the “flagship”. I’d imagine in real world driving and living, there’s very little difference between the two.

Cheers for the view / thoughts Adam. I have to admit i agreed with your sentiments prior to driving both cars - having reviewed both (videos on the channel) the A45 is a step up in tech, interior but night and day in out right speed! They are both great cars - but if it were my money - its the A45 all day long (only my opinion)

Fair enough, I’ll be looking for a new toy next year, so I’ll add it to the list of cars to try 👍🏻.

My head chooses the A45 but my wallet chose the A35.

Would be the A45s for me. It’s definitely worth the extra money over the A35. Especially second hand prices, maybe £9k in it for cars with similar mileage.
It’s much like when guys on the forums who have an M135i or M140i. I’ve often seen guys say they test drove an M2 and they didn’t think it’s worth the premium. Followed by I can spend X amount and make my car handle nearly as good. Or if I tune my M140i it will be faster than an M2.
I feel these sort of people really are missing the point. You don’t buy the flagship of the model line up for outright straight line speed. It’s for the whole package.
Of course as we know, and you documented with you comp, even the stock M2 can be improved.

Agree entirely chap - it’s what you start with - anything can be improved upon so you have to judge it on what’s in front of you at the time 👌
      Appreciate the thoughts / comments

True good point! Also with a new car u dealing with warranty and modifying a car will invalidate that.

@@suhail1200 I sort of get why people don’t want to modify during the warranty period.
I also don’t really understand it. If you modify during warranty you have to pay for anything they goes wrong. If you modify out of warranty, you pay for anything that goes wrong.
