@@matheusflores619 Bro what do you mean, there are loads of child stars from the late 2000s-early 2010s who's lives have massively gone downhill between now and then (tho some have bounced back), not always specifically drugs, but a lot of them, yeah drugs.
There are a lot of child starts who do perfectly fine, and the industry is definitely better. But saying that it doesn't still happen is just wrong, there's a large amount, it's not like a rare possibility that it could happen

Ralph has probably had a facelift. Jackie has also always been heavy actor and had his face punched alot of times. I'd say with all that he's gone through + being nearly 70 that he does look above average for his age!

That’s actually really awesome, making the reboot actually apart of the same universe is something I was not expecting.
I think they wanted Cobra Kai to wrap up before doing it because some fans were against it. I'd like to see some Karate fights choreographed in a style that Jackie has had in his movies.

If it is in the same universe then technically it should not be considered a reboot, it is a sequel.

Kobra Kai final season ain't even out yet so they're definitely 2 steps ahead.
Jackie Chan took so much battering in his younger years that many are worried about his health. So very happy he is still about and active even going into his 70s!

This already officially confirms that cobra Kai and the karate kid 2010 are in the same universe, and now gets me more excited for season 6 of cobra Kai because now it seems likely that Dre and Mr Han could show up in the sekai takai
They are not tho Jackie Chan already exists in Cobra Kai universe, most likely this will be played in another universe

This is the moment that film of karate in history that we live for.
Never did I think I'd see such a franchise scouting for just normal, even unexperienced folks to protagonize this movie, I am sure excited to see how this turns out!
This probably isn't a place to say this but, I am doing somebody who truly desires to take this opportunity to heart, there is one person I know around the Internet who I think truly deserves this spot, so just to vouch for him, he has a tiktok (and possibly even a RUclips Chanel) known as "Ippo Calvo", just so y'all know, he just has begun working out, and practicing marital arts and boxing, so there is an option at least! Wishing this project the best of the bests
It's an old school Power Ranger move to prioritize martial art talent over acting, and these days they know how to train/direct anyone into good acting. I hope they do something similar for the Power Rangers reboot cast.

I really hope the writing team from Cobra Kai is in charge of this film, because they seem to be the only ones these days who know how to get a reboot EXACTLY right!
i hope not, also don't hope for the remake team to be involved as well. That remake had some good moments but it wasn't a good movie overall, as for Cobra Kai it started well but became a teen drama rather quickly couldn't even finish it because of how much teen drama was in it. I hope they have new writers and good writers that will focus more in the martial arts aspect and less in teen drama.

I dunno. Macchio looked like a 16 year kid in the original trilogy even though he was already 29 years old, lol. In this vid he finally looks about 29 or a bit older. So he looks like he aged a decade in these last 30-40 years.
