Get out of my head. 😂😭 Honestly, I wasn’t gonna watch this because of the exact reason you said I would. I most often don’t watch any of the videos because I’m a firm believer in “tell me what you have to say personally, not through 37 videos & streams”. It’s always someone else telling me what XYZ said, which leads into me responding in some way; rinse & repeat. This… was the most grounded video of me, ever. There’s like 40% context missing, which fills some holes, but yeah. You’re spot on with how we got here. I planned on taking the break once sponsored videos were finished, but lowkey. You can be my armchair therapist if you want. People think I have this yes man/woman or a group of people leading me astray, but the truth is I have no one for any of that. I don’t talk about my feelings and I don’t open up about problems. Thats how the crash outs happen on Twitter. Having a shield up in defense mode all the time… it doesn’t really end well when I feel forced to change it to an attack. Thank you for saying what you did (here & Twitter). It means a lot to be spoken to and seen, instead of berated/belittled for content. I appreciate that, Solo.
I've always been of the opinion that while you did make mistakes that shouldn't have been made, the bullying and whatnot that has spread because of it is incredibly unreasonable. It's the type of stuff that makes you feel like people didn't like you from the beginning and wanted an excuse to flame you. Take a break Brodie, come back and I'm sure folks will be right back to welcome you, and for those who still come at you afterwards, fuck em
As childish as this drama was Its kinda understandable bc there was 5K on the line and both iyo and pokke agreed to tryhard In that regard id simply fault iyo for not pulling his end of the bargain considering pokke did his
No it's not. After hearing the breakdown and how the tournament was held and conducted, he wasn't at fault. All parties involved should have had access to an account with every character, and these characters should have been maxed. Especially since you could ban characters as well. That tournament was half-assed at best.
@@damianadivine4368 yeah because You can get an account with all the characters just like that , Even if You spend 30k dollars You still would need to be playing for a year or more with that acc to have all the characters as the banners are not up for most characters ... Like WTF is this comments lol
@@thewritevibe It's childish. Professional teams lose at tournaments with hundreds of thousands on the line, and they stay together and suck it up. Today Iyo didn't max his traces, tomorrow Pokke will misplay- do we tear him apart then.
I mean, it was $5000 on the line. Is it really childish when it comes to that amount of money? Secondly for a person who makes a big song and dance in their videos about the importance of vertical progression and investment into your characters, he sure doesn't seem to practice what he preaches lol.
Yes. Yes it is childish. Bro mad he didn't win the prize he decided he was entitled to. Doesn't matter how you lose, you act like an adult and take the L. It's called good sportsmanship.
I would be upset if I were in poke’s shoes as being paired up with someone who isn’t fully committed when you are isn’t a good situation to be in. Hopefully if Iyo participates in future tournaments he levels up traces and is all in.
All of this is under the presumption that the individual (doesn't matter who, really) is like 10 years old and never had to deal with friction when it comes to social interactions and never learned how to deal with it or how to learn from said criticism in order to adjust their behavior in order to improve said situations whenever they occur the next time. If this were the case, yes, I'd absolutely agree with you, Solo. There is only so much someone can take before they snap. But if you are genuinely interested in people's opinions (and you should be as a content creator, because you will have to face them whether you want to or not) you absolutely should be willing to admit when somebody is calling out your mistakes, correct your statements and maybe, if necessary, apologize for potential misunderstandings. This is usually done, or rather 'learned' in Elementary School, some might take a bit longer and get a grip of the concept in Middle School. And now we all face the reality of the situation, we can acknowledge that Iyo is at least 20 years old and should have a rough idea of how to behave around people. Because that is the only variable HE himself can control. I don't think turning your back on things is a smartthing to do whenever you made a mistake; the situation might die down but the internet doesn't forget and your reputation will suffer regardless. Just try to own your mistakes, be better next time. So many content creators actually manage to do that, but for some interesting reason a big part of the Gacha-CC's seem to have a problem with that. Anyways! What did Iyo choose to do? He choose to be an asshole about it. Go figure. Then things went quiet for a couple of weeks and the next time we hear from him, he's an asshole again. Man. Let's not sugarcoat it - If he refuses to learn from his mistakes, won't even own up to them either and then goes to complain that everyone else is to blame... then he absolutely deserves to be in this shitty situation (I know you agree there, not saying you didn't) - The point is that the feedback Iyo got should've been a wake-up call for Iyo the first time around. It's not a foreign concept that only starting CCs have to experience, that's not true at all and thus there is hardly any 'excuse' to be made until the guy finally starts working on himself. All he needs to do is come clean with the shit he did and said and do better next time. Fuck, there doesn't even need to be an apology. Just admit it openly, without some backhanded "actually someone else is at fault"-crap. That's all people want to hear and you'd see people would move on because they have no wind in their sails to attack you anymore.
Since I'm a CC (for myself), I can relate to some things here. Definitely taking a break from the internet is a wise choice. It's never too late to start, even when you're down a peg. I've learned a lot from this whole "drama" and it's funny to see exactly how I ended up defending Iyo lmao. Talking to these individuals helped me improve my way of thinking. Instead of bringing me down, they're helping me learn faster. If facts are enough to frustrate those who can't accept the truth, then there's no need for me to bother filling their selfish desires. The majority of those guys were pretty much a bunch of trolls, who are entitled to their own false statements. Solid video here, I'll keep up with the next one. May the Amber Lord bless your pulls.
I had been thinking about this occasionally for the past few days and I thoroughly agree with the points you make in the video but I cannot agree with the idea that the drama is childish, I believe the way it was handled was wrong but it is at the end of the day a 5K dollars tourney and iyo had said he had commited, I wouldnt say the drama is them not winning rather them having had the possibility to win and iyo inting. But yeah great video, I really enjoy yours :)
There's such thing as frendly competition and sportsmanship. Iyo did not show sportsmanship in that he didn't try his best after saying he was going to. He let his partner down and didn't try to grasp the scoop of the situation until the end.
I think accountability and just saying that you messed up, using that to improve yourself in the long run is the best way you can go. Take a break and then come back newer and refreshed. It's completely normal to accept mistakes that you've done and moved on, a lot of people just can't do that which is sad.
just a couple of comments. I did catch how solo said he wasn't going to arm chair psychology iyo but then proceeded to tell us how Iyo is supposedly thinking and the possible reason for why he is acting the way he is ( literally doing the thing he said he wasn't going to do). Also, if I am in a tournament with someone and it is not for money and we lose I would look at pokke weird for being so pressed about it but if there is $10,000($5,000 split between the both of them) hell yeah I would be pissed. For me its the fact that you are a guide maker that is supposedly teaching people how to play the game and how to vertically invest in your account. But u didn't think to level your traces it makes me question ur credibility especially when its something as black and white as traces = more dmg. On top of that, the fact that iyo deflected in the conversation afterwards was another reason for me to judge him differently. If he would have just said yea I didn't do that that was on me my bad it would have been fine honestly. Also I think another reason he is getting criticized so heavily is because of the residual hate from the Wuwa drama(which the hate was justified). I get the idea of the negative comments about being a content creator and everything but I don't see how saying that wuwa doesn't have a ME isn't ego. There is no way you can convince me its not.
As condescending as this is going to sound, It sounds to me that it's more of an age and experience thing more than anything. I genuinely don't think any of the gacha influencers have the experience to handle the literal thousands of human interactions they tend to get. It's a career I feel like you grow up very fucking fast. I think you hit the nail on the head, and you've learned early on, probably since the gacha podcast episode that you have to just learn to let go and seperate yourself from the stressor so you can gain hindsight. Iyo sounds like a guy who is going through that right now and this can either make or break him, so I do genuinely hope that he watches this video and actually thinks about it.
if its childish of pokke to "lash" out for not winning 5k tournament then its also childish of iyo to lie that he would try his hardest to win, which is the main reason why pokke made the first video
Everyone is talking about the $5000 on the line. I do find that understandable as to how Pokke became upset (he was actually upset for another reason but lets go with that). But the actual reason why this is "childish" is because he made a video about it, when any sensible person, if not friend, would have kept it private. This is by far the biggest problem with the Hoyoverse CC community. Everyone is more than willing to air out their dirty laundry in public, all for the sake of content. It's pretty bad, and it's a huge reason why a lot of this stuff happens.
He did message Iyo about it first and Iyo could've said "Hey, I'd prefer if we handle this privately, can we talk?" or "i'd appreciate it if you didn't talk to stream/make a video about it." Then if Pokke does anyway, then Pokke is the asshole and ppl would say he doesn't respect ppls wishes
pokke asked iyo before he made the video and iyo responded with something along the lines of "yall expect me to 10/10/10 supports or clara". I dont see any words saying he cant make the video so pokke made it
This was a video that I wasn’t expecting, especially since I’ve moved away from a very toxic part of the HSR community, but I really enjoyed the video. It was very grounded and I really appreciate calling Iyo out. I decided to look more into this whole “drama” and from what I can tell, it’s not really drama. Yes, Iyo made a mistake and didn’t follow through and gave 110%. But the fact that 5 Grand was on the line… I would be on the same side as Pokke, but trying to be more reasonable and keep it private. Regardless of revenue of what each CC makes or what brings in the bucks, this was a competitive tournament between two teams, in which one team and their teammate threw the game, resulting in losing the grand prize. But anyway, this wasn’t really drama, it was stupid and maybe childish, but both Pokke and Iyo made a mistake on both of their parts and what matters is that they should’ve handled their matters privately and should’ve not held their grievances. Otherwise, great video as always
Iyo made misplays 2 times and most of them besides user error were from NOT maxing traces because he "doesnt use those characters anymore" when referring to some of the best sustains and supports in the game, of which was huohuo which is one of the best characters for yunli and clara and he supposedly mains yuunli yet didnt have her maxed. he was asked why he didnt max traces multiple times and kept getting angry at chat cause his builds were "amazing" yet his builds were subpar at best he has 4k stamina saved and couldve used for free and instead wanted money to pay for eidolons instead of maxing a trace cause it "does something different" he then blames everything on mr pokke not telling him, a guidemaker, to max traces beforehand the rewards for each of them was $5k so mr pokke capitalizing on iyo being incompetent by uploading a stream for more revenue after not getting 5k they couldve easily won isnt childish, hop off your high horse
I mean I believe iyo is in the wrong but what I find most disturbing is why couldn’t that be handled privately. I feel like this pokke guy love things like this. He typically go after gacha smack.
Are we Justifying the consequences of holding your Ego?…is self awareness is that hard to do?…we are all human but that doesn’t stop any of us to deal with the consequences of our actions.
He threw at a tournament because he still held a grudge against Pokke because of all the Kara Canceling clown fiesta that he started in a reaction video a while ago. With this he got back at him, lol.
calling out someone cuz they fucked over the chance of u possibly winning 5k when they said they would work their ass off for it too is not wrong even if it tarnishes a person's reputation, it is a person's actions that affect how people view him. If iyo didnt lash out on twitter like a baby bitch boy every other day and if he apologized for the obvious mistake he made its his fault, i know mr pokke isnt neutral but i dont see him calling out iyo being a bitchass that cant be talked to cuz he wouldnt even feel apologetic as a mistake on his part and beleive its truly justified
i doubt there is some big context peice missing here too cuz if there was why has he not fucking said it anywhere in dms or in the voice call like he would lie abt maxing chars and give excuses for why he didnt max out his sparkle and silverworlf when he had 4k stamina in reserve out of just pure respect for mr pokke and his commitment instead of giving the "huge 40% missing context" like this type of bitchass behaviour aint helping him
?????? Drama is content. It's intentional. 5000 is nice, but also winning is good for their brand overall, which is arguably worth more than 5000 for them.
Its not deep and there is no principle. Iyo felt cornered, doubled downed, and is now a mess. Honestly, when he takes that 1 month break, his disposition will change. He will say My Bad Guys and fix his reputation almost instantly, because his only fault was being too egotistical, and once dropped, he is all good again.
Not sure how I came to this video since it's so late, but I ended up watching it anyways. This drama was childish. I typically don't follow drama at all, but this caught my interest for some reason. There were two things that bothered me: 1) They both agreed to take the tournament seriously. From what I see, if he didn't realize how serious Pokke was (in the context of Pokke's account for how he [Pokke] described his [Pokke's] seriousness), then he wasn't paying attention to the other person. Lack of social awareness. 2) He said he did, but he didn't. (He said he maxed his graces, he didn't.) Instead, he doubled down and turned it into an attack. I can understand how he might feel on the defensive, but at some point you have to look at your own receipts and realize you're lying to yourself, or that you're lying to others. Accept it. I do not like the tone of this video. I understand the perspective you are trying to offer. I suggest an improvement to the tone and delivery, but like you said, "You don't care." Anyone who thinks it was truly about the tournament are exactly the people that get swept up in a drama like this. Funny also, how I've seen Iyo hop to every video with a perspective that could be beneficial to him. I'm not sure how being afraid to break the stereotypes set for "dudes" means you can be an asshole and not own up to it. I think that's just being a socially aware, self-reflective person, *dude.* There is no point in re-examining this situation now, but I, an anonymous commentator, seemingly has nothing better to do than type a "negative comment." It could never be that a creator is doing something wrong. At any given point, as someone rises in popularity, there should be an equal amount of positive and negative feedback. That's just the reality of the world, like everything else on the curve. If there's more negative feedback than positive, then the strategy should be changed, or you need to retrain your mindset to stop highlighting negative comments over positive ones. This is not "ignoring the comments." This is training your brain to stop actively searching for things to confirm victim's bias. "I'm sorry. I was rude, and I miscommunicated with you." That's it. That ends the whole "drama." Peace out, dude.
The take on Iyo is understandable but Pokke did NOTHING wrong. It’s not childish, the not trying part while saying otherwise os what tilted him and he still handled it pretty well. He never lashed out or anything, always trying to listen to reasons. I think you’re just trying to take the high road here
Nah chief you lost me the moment you said 5k was "Baby stuff" To A LOT of people, 5k is A LOT of money. Do you know what I could do with that? I could pay off a shit load of my bills that have been hanging over my head for the last couple of years
lmfao childish he says 😭. alright look you have 5000 dollars on the line and your teammate fucks it up for you because of something SO EASY they could've fixed easily you wouldbe crashed out i don't wanna hearr that
very reasonable take, and im glad that iyo came and actually said he's planning to take that break. ill happily keep watching his vids after he comes back from said break since they're pretty good IMO, bro just needs to chill for a minute and stop fumbling
I feel like most people in the comments only watched the first five minutes of this vid, solo making a lot of good points here. I will say the start makes it sound like pokke is in the wrong when hes definetly not. Being screwed over is fucked regardless of your financial situation and (as far as I know) pokke still hasnt recieved an apology. The rest though true for sure I hope Iyo gets his stuff sorted.
10:33 ya ngl a lesson u can learn internet.......if anybody starts using the term "woke" in a serious sentence to refrence things U can ignore anything they say cause nothing they say matters Its a Good thing to know if u see comments calling u "woke"
I found iyos channel through a tournament video from Gacha Smack, I watched some guides I liked and subbed to him, not long after that he dropped a video saying people were dumb for not buying the battle pass, I stopped watching his content from that moment. And looks like his takes have gotten worse since
Thing is i watch just about everybody, and i even watched Iyo at one point. But i couldnt take the ego which leads to crap takes and he cant take an L honorably. Hence now i cant watch him anymore
The simulated universe run in the background is so distracting. Not using technique points before smashing the bottles, not picking the recommended blessings and not using ruan mei’s skill. I’m so confused lmao
@@XgoSolo this is one of the things that pisses me off about the mode, the blessings are a waste of my fucking time, i bet you could run right down the middle every fucking time and still wipe the floor, yeah in the begining of the game they mattered but the current sim uni is so over cooked its mind bogling, i dont even interact with the equation shit
Most people that were on debate teams die on the hill. As someone who could not stand Iyo's personality, I will say that he had a hard way. The bad take Iyo meme would be hard on anybody. I just hope for a redemption arc for him. Right now he is early arc Gaara. We all hope he can apologize for being so bull-headed and finally become the level headed and respectful Kazekage he was meant to be. He has all the potential in the world he just needs to get out of that debate team mindset.
What i learned from the whole thing is CCs arent really different from your average player, they just do the same thing everyone else does which is "figures stuff out" but they just decided to put a camera in front of them. But as i say with anyone on RUclips, thank you for the information and entertainment. But man, talk about the literal easiest 5K to be flopped
I agree some people take Iyo stuff too far in regards to bullying but my god this last drama with him was all on him. Dude has a strangely large ego for someone who honestly isnt good enough at the game to be making guides. Even aside from not leveling traces, dude made some major misplays in that tournament that i think show he doesn't really understand the game too well. Like not using the silver wolf ult to save a cycle. And then to have this super defensive and weird response to Pokke, gaslighting him into apologizing to you was weird AF.
Why are we teaching him how to walk? Isn't he big enough? there are people out there that isn't getting what he's getting and clearly doesn't deserve it
I really don’t agree, and I’ll be very honest here. The truth is that you should watch more of Asmongold because he explained this dynamic quite accurately. The relationship between an audience and a content creator is similar to that between a video game developer and a consumer. You exist to produce content and entertain. The audience doesn’t really care about the content creator as a person they just want the content. If you’re producing good content, you’ll have an audience. The same goes for game developers. I have zero sympathy for how much time, investment, or effort they put into a product if that product ends up being mediocre. Concord is a prime example: 8 years of development and $100-200 million dollars, only to be abandoned less than two weeks after release. I think a more realistic and healthier outlook would be to face the reality of the situation. The same goes for my field as a researcher the only thing that truly matters is whether I’m producing papers, and if those papers are accurate and significant. If I’m not, I’ll just get fired.
Iyo should leave YT because it don't have a him😂 He is the clown of the community. Also Gacha Smack has biggest ego and that's why I stopped watching him.
@@Kirraii so what ? probably u also need to spend 10k to build your acc lmao like gacha games pvp are just 5% skill expression, and 95% how much wallet $$ you put in your acc cz f2p beating any spender in gacha are just high on something
everyone here really needs to see the other perspective rather than just see pokke's perspective for how all the events played out. lots of context missing, I wouldn't say purposely, that actually makes the situation understandable, Pokke making videos about this when it could ahve been handled in a call or dm or fuck actually telling the man "im pissed about this situation" would have been a lot more of a responsible thing to do. Yes, Iyo should have been more prepared for the situation at hand. pokke being mad isn't the issue, but pokke not telling iyo that he's mad is how we get the 2nd video from pokke making iyo look insufferable. (tectone called pokke and other CC's out on this) Too many babies that can't communicate in this space.
Pokke DID tell Iyo in a DM that he was gonna cook him on his traces and Iyo could've asked him not to or said, "Hey can we talk about this in private?" He didn't do any of that. Instead what we did see from Iyo was "Ain't no way y'all expect me to 10/10/10 my supports and Clara 💀"
yea Pokke shouldve handled this privately, but Iyo IS insufferable in the 2nd vid, it just makes me mad. And the way he responds to other ppl is rlly annoying
youd think mr ...."insert this character is changing the meta" would realize Clara has made a resurgance now that there is a follow up playstyle and is important in a competative match where your favortie could get banned but nah.....hed loose
I'll post this here since it's easy to copy/paste information about the "Drama". Hope this information is useful to anyone who's trying to use proven statements. It Was My Fault." - by Pokke Link: ruclips.net/video/d0JXv0ULOK8/видео.html At 3:54, Pokke said that, "You have 4000 stamina you could have leveled up the traces, but you choose not to. Which is why I'm a little upset." This is understandable. Then at 4:00, Iyo said, "So why didn't you just say, do that, when I asked you guys in the first place?" So it clearly tells us that Iyo was aware of them telling him to max out his traces. Then at 4:04, Pokke says, "I mean... first of all, I was in the call. But second of all, it was not just for Clara. It was for all of your other units as well." The dumbest part of this is that he dejected from Iyo's response as said "I was in the call" which states nothing. We still have no idea what Pokke implied by that. So what if he was in the call? What did he say as well as the others? Then at 4:10, Iyo says, "Yeah, but I still asked, should I max them out? And the answer was that I should be fine." This clearly states that Iyo is trying to stay on topic but then Pokke dejects from his point and continues to argue that he could've maxed it out but he didn't. Pokke's just stating what he thinks. Then at 4:36, Iyo says, "Yeah, no. Sparkle could've been done instantly. Yeah Sparkle could've done instantly. But all this stuff is like, I'm asking, should I do blank, blank and blank? Because this is a team that I normally don't play with. That's the whole reason of like, when we we're prepping and you were asking me what can I use? What can I can't use? What am I comfortable at? Yatayata." Then he goes off about what happened like banning phase and stuff and why he chose the team he did. Then at 5:49, Iyo says, "Clara's not the problem in this scenario. And I'm understanding what you said about Sparkle, so I'm not, I'm not arguing against the maxing out Sparkle traces thing? That's not really where I'm going with that." This tells us that Iyo is not arguing against the maxing out traces thing. So for anyone who's a Pokke meat rider and continues to post false statements about Iyo not acknowledging that he should've maxed out his traces, there it is. Iyo himself said that he's not against the idea. Then at 6:45, Iyo says, "Going back to what I was saying. I'll max everything out, except Huohuo. And we still can see if I get a 2-Cylce or not. Then that will easily tell me that matters." In case you weren't paying attention, Iyo said that he will max it out to get a 2-Cycle if Pokke agrees to it. Since he never agreed to letting Iyo show him, then it didn't happen. That is the context of that part. Then at 7:34, Pokke says, "I... I just don't really think it has anything to do with the drafting, and the banning. Or even the actual gameplay itself because all these like you mentioned, it's... it's not up to us. That being said, you know maybe that Silverwolf, you press the ultimate earlier, you could've killed the guy, and then we could've gotten a 1-Cycle." Here, Pokke states that the drafting, banning or even the gameplay was not up to them. This means that they could not control these factors. Which makes sense. Then at 8:26, Pokke shows Iyo his clear. Then Pokke goes on a tangent using "traces" as the argument and discussion. Then he says that 8:08 that, "So it just doesn't... I-... It doesn't click with me why you had like 4,000 Overworld Stamina. You could've easily maxed out any of these traces that would've guaranteed a damage increase, on a unit that you would still use in the future. In this case, not Clara. All these 3 units you can use these in the future. But you just didn't do it. So... So I couldn't understand." Then up until 1:00, Pokke argues why Iyo just didn’t level up his traces even though Zmm and Pokke could do it. Iyo simply replied at 12:47, “Yeah, I don’t think I just thought about that. The 3 to 5 minute window, after I draft. So that’s on me… I just didn’t think about it. Yeah, that’s on me then for just not thinking on it. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t, I wasn’t like locked in or I wanted to win. That’s not what that means. But, I’m definitely not thinking to do that thing, when I didn’t have to do it before.” This is definitely a reasonable response. Why should I max out my traces if I can do it in the time that I like? Clearly, after a couple months you would definitely forget about it. Then Pokke continues to go on about traces like he hasn’t before. This is repeated multiple times so It’s firm to say that this is the point he wanted to get across. Then at 14:58, Iyo brings up the idea that they should get him an E1 Robin. Then he says that they should split the winnings after they win the tournament. So kind of like an investment? He says this jokingly and tells Iyo if this ever did happen, they should consider this. He then clarifies that if Pokke did give him an E1 Robin, he would take it. I think a lot of people take this out of context. This isn’t gaslighting Pokke into giving Iyo anything. It’s simply a light joke between them. Viewers wouldn’t get this. Then at 20:26, Iyo clarifies why he didn’t max out his Sparkle/Silverwolf before the tournament since Pokke told him that, “But wouldn’t you have… shouldn’t you have maxed out a unit’s traces since like… ages ago? Because that is literally like one of the most important thing as like any guide maker? So let’s just say, max your traces! Max your traces!” Iyo didn’t max Sparkle because he could already perform a 0-Cycle with Seele. Since this is the case, he believed that he no longer needed to focus on traces for Sparkle. He then says that he doesn’t use Silver Wolf as often as he used to in the past. He only uses it unless he feels obligated to because of the game’s mechanics. Then at 22:06, Iyo asks Pokke, “What is it that you’re trying to get me to say about the tournament? So that I’m… aware… of what the fuck is going on?” Pokke then proclaims that some things in the tournament could’ve been done better. Then at 24:11, Pokke then tells Iyo, “But now that you know you’re gonna use your Sparkle, it somehow didn’t occur to you to… to max out the traces? Which is a little bit strange...” Then Iyo replies, “This is why I ask questions, before I do these things. And then I get told certain answers, and then I just leave it alone. I will double confirm something, especially when like, I don’t… primarily use it. Right? Because you use Sparkle significantly that I do Sparkle. So explaining the, you should max our her ultimate. Okay cool, I’ll do the ultimate thing. It ain’t nothing but a one click thing, where I had over 600 of the little tear thingies? To just give a trace. But I used them, on the other team we thought I was gonna get. So those tears were gone. Which is why all that stuff is there, which you can see for the stamina. But yeah, it’s easy to be like okay cool. Max out the ultimate. Alright, boom done! And then you can call it a day from there. But that wasn't, we weren’t using her significantly for the prep time so it… it wasn’t in my head then. And then, the crash course right before the tournament, alright we might get Sparkle, let’s do this yatayata and that. And then we were, I know you weren’t looking too much but, when we we’re in the call. I was getting the 2 to 3 with that uh… with that Sparkle. And then Tingyun was on the team instead… instead of silver. But I was still getting the 2 to 3 or whatever. It was consistently closer to a 2 than it was a 3. 3, was I didn’t get hit. Like they just didn’t touch Clara at all.” So essentially, Pokke straight out said that the traces were his main problem. Iyo having 4,000 energy is partially the reason why he jumped to the conclusion that Iyo wasn't trying his hardest. At 27:57, Iyo says, “But you didn’t tell me to do it either.” Then Pokke replies, “Do you know why? Because I thought it would be done. It’s an automatic response. Why in the hell would my support be at level 9 trace? It’s my fault that I assumed that you know, to upgrade the traces for your supports and your sustains and your dps. Because you wanted to do the most damage. So I’m sorry, that I thought that you know. So because you didn’t, you didn’t know that I… So basically, I didn’t remind you. So it’s… and I couldn’t have known that I didn’t remind you because I expected you to know this.” This means that Pokke expected Iyo to know. Since he didn't it turned out like this. So Iyo had a podcast quite a long time ago with Rehoo and in that podcast, Iyo was known to have farmed relics over traces. Now he doesn’t prioritize relics over traces to a extreme degree anymore and Iyo said that it was indeed a funny remark. Remix said that Iyo’s set was bad and he responded with, “Show me your Wind-Set Sparkle right now bro.” So to all of you idiots out there saying that Iyo’s Sparkle was bad, try going 4 turns in 1-Cycle with high CRIT DMG. At the end, Iyo & Pokke had quite a bit of fun and Pokke vented out what he needed to. Ya’ll really taking this drama too seriously. To those who understand, may the Amber Lord bless your pulls.
They should never allow mr pokke and lyo to participate anymore.. Mr pokke started drama on purpose for content and lyo doesn't take accountable for what he says or does.. they both lost subs from me
@@Ilint but imagine u and a teammate in a competition, both of u worked rlly hard everyday to prepare, and ur teammate just suddenly say nah fk it i aint wasting my shit on this. How would u feel?

I personally stopped watching WuWa creators and HSR creators for the last 2 months and only watched some chill Genshin creators/streamers come to think of it there are not much chill creators in the WuWa space and HSR space ,yeah there are also some problematic creators in the Genshin space but it’s just 1 or 3 people at max
I come back to laugh at them sometimes because their content has gotten so fucking bad lately and quite a lot of the Tectone Super Friends CC group are just spiraling down this drain of their own making. Glad I'm not the only one noticing that WuWa has a real quality content creator problem and degraded into just non-stop drama farming and blaming it all on other fanbases really fast. It's not even the people you would have expected at the outset like Tectone etc, but these upstarts or lesser known "gacha" people that somehow make even weirder more defensive (to put it diplomatically) petty content around it exclusively (when not throwing shade at other popular gacha titles and fanbases) like Stix, Kazahana, Ryuuku Sensei, Saintontas etc. The only CC even remotely worth a damn in Wuthering Waves scene seems to be Rexlent still who has just kind of stuck to covering the game and stayed out of the petty drama and fanbase wars from what I've seen. As for HSR, it's been this obsessive anti-Genshin thing that has kind of made the content a bit rough for it, but it's still nowhere near as brutal as with Wuthering Waves which seemed to have inherited a lot of the "Genshin Could Never" trolling content stuff from HSR at this point, effectively freeing it of the burden of that nonsense.
while I understand why Pokke would be angry at Iyo for not being serious enough about the competition, getting that butthurt about it and making 2 whole videos is kinda childish, I understand it's just content farming but at some point you'd expect people to handle these things privately
@@zakariamimouni279 That's a simplification of the situation, what actually warranted it was: 1. Bro lost 5k from Misplays and not maxing characters. 2. Iyo then takes zero accountability and doesn't say sorry once. 3. Proceeds to gaslight Pokke that it was his fault and that he as a guidemaker apprently needs to be told how to play the game. But him making 2 videos and apologizing despite being the victim is childish? Nah you're just meat riding Iyo at this point
@@luckywizard_ yea ppl should stop fking defending iyo. even before the first vid was uploading iyo was i think calling someone dumb or something for asking why iyo didnt max traces...
The drama is so dumb and pointless. He started it just to try to get some views. People arguing about whether it's 5,000 or not, and claiming they would do the same, just shows what kind of person they are. They wouldn’t have won anyway, and even if they could have, he just handled it wrong. He could have messaged him privately and resolved it, but he chose to make videos about trivial issues like this, and we all know why. As if the drama wasn’t dumb enough, now there are other RUclipsrs milking it, only watching one of the two videos. Lastly, I watched some old tournaments where MrPokke was a part of, and his teammate did not have his character’s traces maxed either, so I wonder why it’s a problem now. I liked him before, but I’ve lost all my respect for him now.
Iyo is actually the most technical and detailed person doing these videos BUT Techtone is by far the most interesting person doing these vids and unfortunately Tec criticized Iyo multiple times and the sheeps ran with it. Yes Iyo is a fighting game fan but he also takes time to explain in detail his views and backs them up.
Iyo yaps a lot and makes you think he is technical. But the man has very little understanding of these gacha games that he plays, it’s no coincidence that he needed other people telling him what traces he needed to level up to the tournament. He will always say at every video how > he was right about x and y, but most of the times it’s a straight lie for people to eat up. I remember how he said “he was right about break archetype being busted” on firefly release, meanwhile 20 days before on Boothill’s video he said that break archetype was incomplete and it was not ready yet to be played. It’s just pure gaslighting every time. There’s a reason he earned “Bad takes” Iyo
I don't dislike Iyo however you can't Deny that he's constantly getting in Drama of his OWN making sure Tec and the rest jump on in to do what they do but like I said Iyo is the one stating this in the first place so it's totally fair.
I don’t know why ANYONE listens to TECTONE. He’s someone who is well past his prime and just farms clout. This is probably why the MHY games have such awful drama. Iyo is not beyond criticism but let’s be real here, this was a time when he is getting more flack than he should. This should have never been farmed for clicks and Pokke should have just taken like a man or at least done it in private.
Get out of my head. 😂😭
Honestly, I wasn’t gonna watch this because of the exact reason you said I would.
Yoo I guess we watched the vid at the same time
Yoo it kara cancel guys😮

Omg another essay
As childish as this drama was
Its kinda understandable bc there was 5K on the line and both iyo and pokke agreed to tryhard
In that regard id simply fault iyo for not pulling his end of the bargain considering pokke did his
No it's not. After hearing the breakdown and how the tournament was held and conducted, he wasn't at fault. All parties involved should have had access to an account with every character, and these characters should have been maxed. Especially since you could ban characters as well. That tournament was half-assed at best.
@@damianadivine4368 that would require hoyo stepping up and getting involved in the community. they did the best with what they had
@@damianadivine4368 yeah because You can get an account with all the characters just like that , Even if You spend 30k dollars You still would need to be playing for a year or more with that acc to have all the characters as the banners are not up for most characters ... Thing is Pokke didn't do his part. He at most tied and Moon still had her reset.
@@chelo136 private server is there, but iyo knew what he was getting into.
$5000 is $5000, went down the drain, being upset about losing coz your teammate ignored a units traces is understandable.
Agree, it’s not childish when there’s that much money involved.
Since when did money have anything to do with being childish, you can't act like a grown up unless someone pays you?
bro makes that much from sponsors
amen brother
Yes. Yes it is childish. Bro mad he didn't win the prize he decided he was entitled to. Doesn't matter how you lose, you act like an adult and take the L. It's called good sportsmanship.
I don't understand how some people think that 5000$ on the line is baby or childish.
That's all people want to hear and you'd see people would move on because they have no wind in their sails to attack you anymore.
its wild that u gotta preface a benign statement about men's mental health with "not to be woke" because that's how insane this community has gotten
The start of this video was like when someone is angry and you tell them to calm down 💀
I think accountability and just saying that you messed up, using that to improve yourself in the long run is the best way you can go. Take a break and then come back newer and refreshed. It's completely normal to accept mistakes that you've done and moved on, a lot of people just can't do that which is sad.
Where is the part where he takes accountability though
This
just a couple of comments.
I'm on you with this one brother. May the Amber Lord bless your pulls.
pokke asked iyo before he made the video and iyo responded with something along the lines of "yall expect me to 10/10/10 supports or clara".
This video is by far the most grounded and interesting take on the iyo situation. Hopefully iyo sees this and changes his mind even just a little bit
Iyo made misplays 2 times and most of them besides user error were from NOT maxing traces because he "doesnt use those characters anymore" when referring to some of the best sustains and supports in the game, of which was huohuo which is one of the best characters for yunli and clara and he supposedly mains yuunli yet didnt have her maxed.
he was asked why he didnt max traces multiple times and kept getting angry at chat cause his builds were "amazing" yet his builds were subpar at best
he has 4k stamina saved and couldve used for free and instead wanted money to pay for eidolons instead of maxing a trace cause it "does something different"
he then blames everything on mr pokke not telling him, a guidemaker, to max traces beforehand
the rewards for each of them was $5k so mr pokke capitalizing on iyo being incompetent by uploading a stream for more revenue after not getting 5k they couldve easily won isnt childish, hop off your high horse
Great video! Love a different perspective.
I mean I believe iyo is in the wrong but what I find most disturbing is why couldn’t that be handled privately. I feel like this pokke guy love things like this. He typically go after gacha smack.
Holy shit you can't be this stupid to think Pokke and Smack actually have beef
Are we Justifying the consequences of holding your Ego?…is self awareness is that hard to do?…we are all human but that doesn’t stop any of us to deal with the consequences of our actions.
He threw at a tournament because he still held a grudge against Pokke because of all the Kara Canceling clown fiesta that he started in a reaction video a while ago.
With this he got back at him, lol.
good vid, always interesting to hear different perspectives
rich kids wouldnt understand coz they got so much money to waste
calling out someone cuz they fucked over the chance of u possibly winning 5k when they said they would work their ass off for it too is not wrong even if it tarnishes a person's reputation, it is a person's actions that affect how people view him. If iyo didnt lash out on twitter like a baby bitch boy every other day and if he apologized for the obvious mistake he made its his fault, i know mr pokke isnt neutral but i dont see him calling out iyo being a bitchass that cant be talked to cuz he wouldnt even feel apologetic as a mistake on his part and beleive its truly justified
i doubt there is some big context peice missing here too cuz if there was why has he not fucking said it anywhere in dms or in the voice call like he would lie abt maxing chars and give excuses for why he didnt max out his sparkle and silverworlf when he had 4k stamina in reserve out of just pure respect for mr pokke and his commitment instead of giving the "huge 40% missing context" like this type of bitchass behaviour aint helping him
This really explains the long break you took. Am glad you are doing well now and hopefully back to making more videos!
?????? Drama is content. It's intentional. 5000 is nice, but also winning is good for their brand overall, which is arguably worth more than 5000 for them.
While the reason for the drama might be childs play it's the principle of the matter
Glad I bowed out of the larger hsr community when I did. The constant drama is getting out of hand.
It's not really the HSR community, it's trashy content creators with literally nothing better to do.
I don't have anything to add, just a simple "good vid Solo" 👍
Not sure how I came to this video since it's so late, but I ended up watching it anyways. This drama was childish. I typically don't follow drama at all, but this caught my interest for some reason. There were two things that bothered me:
1) They both agreed to take the tournament seriously.
I suggest an improvement to the tone and delivery, but like you said, "You don't care."
Anyone who thinks it was truly about the tournament are exactly the people that get swept up in a drama like this. Funny also, how I've seen Iyo hop to every video with a perspective that could be beneficial to him. I'm not sure how being afraid to break the stereotypes set for "dudes" means you can be an asshole and not own up to it. I think that's just being a socially aware, self-reflective person, *dude.*
There is no point in re-examining this situation now, but I, an anonymous commentator, seemingly has nothing better to do than type a "negative comment." It could never be that a creator is doing something wrong.
"I'm sorry. I was rude, and I miscommunicated with you."
That's it. That ends the whole "drama."
Peace out, dude.
The take on Iyo is understandable but Pokke did NOTHING wrong. It’s not childish, the not trying part while saying otherwise os what tilted him and he still handled it pretty well. He never lashed out or anything, always trying to listen to reasons. I think you’re just trying to take the high road here
Nah chief you lost me the moment you said 5k was "Baby stuff"
To A LOT of people, 5k is A LOT of money.
Iyo should learn a thing or two from Eango.
Iyo seems to tread the same path but is totally failing at it.
Really enjoying the vids since the break please keep putting out good stuff like this.

People really act like entitled children when money is involved.
Iyo should leave YT because it don't have a him😂
He is the clown of the community.
Also Gacha Smack has biggest ego and that's why I stopped watching him.

You both are stupid jesus 💀
everyone here really needs to see the other perspective rather than just see pokke's perspective for how all the events played out. lots of context missing, I wouldn't say purposely, that actually makes the situation understandable, Pokke making videos about this when it could ahve been handled in a call or dm or fuck actually telling the man "im pissed about this situation" would have been a lot more of a responsible thing to do.
It Was My Fault." - by Pokke

At 3:54, Pokke said that, "You have 4000 stamina you could have leveled up the traces, but you choose not to.
So... So I couldn't understand."
Then up until 1:00, Pokke argues why Iyo just didn’t level up his traces even though Zmm and Pokke could do it.
Max your traces!”
Iyo didn’t max Sparkle because he could already perform a 0-Cycle with Seele.
Which is a little bit strange...”
Then Iyo replies, “This is why I ask questions, before I do these things. Like they just didn’t touch Clara at all.”
So essentially, Pokke straight out said that the traces were his main problem.

My favourite racist RUclipsr has posted

@@zakariamimouni279 That's a simplification of the situation, what actually warranted it was:
1. Bro lost 5k from Misplays and not maxing characters.
2. Iyo then takes zero accountability and doesn't say sorry once.
3. Proceeds to gaslight Pokke that it was his fault and that he as a guidemaker apprently needs to be told how to play the game.

When’s there money on the line it’s not childish. Level up your traces
Iyo is actually the most technical and detailed person doing these videos BUT Techtone is by far the most interesting person doing these vids and unfortunately Tec criticized Iyo multiple times and the sheeps ran with it. @@michaelferrell4869 i mean the past few times tectone has been fair in his criticism 🤷
I don’t know why ANYONE listens to TECTONE. He’s someone who is well past his prime and just farms clout. This is probably why the MHY games have such awful drama.
