This is a good lesson for Norris as this is what’s required to fight with Verstappen. Norris needs to be more aggressive and ruthless to match Max’s style on the track. You can’t come into this expecting a fair battle because Red Bull as an organization is upfront about using everything they can to gain an advantage.

Norris pushed his car over the limit and even after the crash he did not care 4 his car . max did and was able to finish the race . while norris had to F up his car so bad he needed to retire . Btw that corner is Negative camber and to overtake like norris did is just almost imposible .
What nonesense. The punctured tyres just degenerated in different ways. Norris' just developed the long flapping puncture that was striking the car every wheel turn. He called in to his pit saying he was retiring the car while driving back. As for the corner, Norris overtook Max on lap 63 on the inside, making the corner without going over track limits and had track position. Max re-overtook Lando off the circuit and should have been told to give the place back, just as Lando did when he went off the circuit a lap or two earlier. Lando's attempt on lap 64 was to go wide to get the cut back for the turn afterwards. Max decided that having defended the insdie line initially, he would swing across and block Norris on the outside as well. You simply cannot do this, as that level of erratic driving is banned. Was Max aggressive? yes. But it was on the limit. One can clearly see it was Lando's sudden turn to the right that caused the impact. It was exactly like the one Max avoided in the sprint race when Lando got him cos he would have hit Lando's back left corner. He stayed and got him in the next turn. Lando just turned and rammed into Max. You can't just blindly follow the track when there is another car. You have to take evasive action. Rewatch the Lando Max battle in the Sprint. Max gave up to fight another turn. And those who are saying he forced him off the track! Forced him off the track? It is unbelievable that Max always gets the blame. Nobody is talking about Norris. I can agree for the fact that Max changed his line in the brakingzone, even though it was minimalistic. If you receive a penalty for causing a crash and are given a penalty, but the person you crash with DNF's and you finish ahead of them and receive points , WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE PENALTY. Max did the same years ago. Problem with Max is he's out in front and never gets to battle so he's not used to it. When he does he just pushes people into dangerous situations. He's done it numerous times over the years. Can't stand him. Middle pack is the best to watch in F1. Least they battle and 9/10 do it fairly and good to watch.
Maybe Verstappen was a bit naughty moving to the left entering that corner, and maybe you can assign more blame to him than Norris, but I honestly loved the racing and view this more as a racing incident than anything else. After they went off corner, you can see Norris purposely turn into Verstappen with his right front tire (probably out of frustration), but I don't really care because it was good hard racing and was highly entertaining. Senna and Schumacher would've done the same thing, in my opinion. I'm sure Verstappen will be vilified at Silverstone.

It's false that only Hamilton and Leclerc were capable of fighting cleanly with Verstappen. Ricciardo did that as well. (If you're gonna bring Baku 2018 as a reason to exclude Ricciardo you should exclude Hamilton as well for 2021, but both would be wrong)

Verstappen did not move over, on both onboard camera shots looks like he veered to the outside of the turn. But from the drone or helicopter view, Verstappen was only angled toward the outside and kept the same angle. Lando had a choice, hit Max or the brake. Lando chose to hit Max. If I saw it any other way, I'd say it.

Same old Verstappen, once a cheat always a cheat. His team literally cheated to win his first WC (basically unpunished budget cap breach, which kept him in the championship, and getting the race director to blatantly ignore the rules so he could get right behind on fresh tyres to win it), and he's always done this, and always will unless he's punished. He's not a worthy World Champion as far as driving style is concerned because it's always the other driver who has to back out to avoid an accident. @@mauriciogomero9049 Schumacher got the hate and still does to a certain extent. I like Schumacher, but I didn’t start watching f1 till 2001, after his more controversial incidents happened. I also don’t respect some of the things Schumacher did earlier in his career. As for max, he does have an anger issue still. Do I think that was a main factor in this incident, probably not. But Max is a very aggressive driver that has pushed the boundaries for aggressive overtaking and defending and has gotten away penalty free more times than he should have in the current rules. And yes, M.Schumacher got away with his fair share of penalties also. I also think one of the greatest passes made on Schumacher was by Montoya in Malaysia in 2002 (he believe)
You “pundits “ keep saying Verstappen turned under braking. The in car shot shows the steering wheel was not turned. It is acceptable for British drivers to crowd people off according to you. At best Norris misjudged the closing speed with DRS and did not react in time. It was never going to be a clean pass by Norris. He needs to clean up his driving style if he wants to win races at this level. Probably why he has only one win.
He was driving across the line under braking. There was room to the outside as they entered the braking zone which he closed off under braking instead of holding his line. He is trying to find a loophole by steering in the instant of applying brakes. He knows exactly what he is doing and is trying to find the loophole to allow him to get away with it.
So just for reference. In 2016 when rosberg was found guilty he also had not “turned the wheel to the left” but he was found guilty on the basis that he had not turned in the same manner as he done for all the previous laps of the race. Deliberately leaving the car to drift wider than usual. I’m not saying max turned left but there are other ways to get the car to be more left. People mentioned it for Lewis touching people by turning the car with throttle or lack there off to get it to under or oversteer so it does not have to be a turn to the left of the steering to be deemed that he was wrong against Norris
People hate on Verstappen because he’s the best. You have to realize how much training he HAD to go through as a kid leading up to F1. His father was super harsh on him and basically abused him to be this good. It’s sad to see people basically discredit his ability just because they can’t accept that he is the best. Norris pushed his car over the limit and even after the crash he did not care 4 his car . max did and was able to finish the race . while norris had to F up his car so bad he needed to retire . Btw that corner is Negative camber and to overtake like norris did is just almost imposible .
What nonesense. The punctured tyres just degenerated in different ways. Norris' just developed the long flapping puncture that was striking the car every wheel turn. He called in to his pit saying he was retiring the car while driving back. As for the corner, Norris overtook Max on lap 63 on the inside, making the corner without going over track limits and had track position. Max re-overtook Lando off the circuit and should have been told to give the place back, just as Lando did when he went off the circuit a lap or two earlier. Lando's attempt on lap 64 was to go wide to get the cut back for the turn afterwards. Max decided that having defended the insdie line initially, he would swing across and block Norris on the outside as well. You simply cannot do this, as that level of erratic driving is banned.
Norris overcooking it on one lap and giving the place back (while also getting a penalty for it) is zero excuse for Max breaking the rules on multiple laps with no warnings from the officials.

Was Max aggressive? yes. But it was on the limit. One can clearly see it was Lando's sudden turn to the right that caused the impact. It was exactly like the one Max avoided in the sprint race when Lando got him cos he would have hit Lando's back left corner. He stayed and got him in the next turn. Lando just turned and rammed into Max.
You can't just blindly follow the track when there is another car. You have to take evasive action. Rewatch the Lando Max battle in the Sprint. Max gave up to fight another turn.
And those who are saying he forced him off the track! Forced him off the track? Don't be so dense, if you pause right before the impact you can SEE he's not even over the white line, a car isn't off track until all 4 tyres are outside the white lines.

Moving under breaking is to violate those rules, which is something Max has done since forever in F1. Has nothing to do with liking him or not. It is unbelievable that Max always gets the blame. Nobody is talking about Norris. I can agree for the fact that Max changed his line in the brakingzone, even though it was minimalistic. But Lando could have avoided it easily. Same like Max avoided a collision on the divebombs of Lando. Both were hard racing on the edge. If you look back on other races more drivers race like that. Same defending in that corner, but it seems that when max does it all media is trying to blame him. I really feel like there is a hate being created by media. In my opinion we should enjoy the fights between 2 great drivers and its Lando's first time he gets a car where he can win and he will probably do so later this year. We should sit back and let them fight.

Maybe Verstappen was a bit naughty moving to the left entering that corner, and maybe you can assign more blame to him than Norris, but I honestly loved the racing and view this more as a racing incident than anything else. After they went off corner, you can see Norris purposely turn into Verstappen with his right front tire (probably out of frustration), but I don't really care because it was good hard racing and was highly entertaining. Senna and Schumacher would've done the same thing, in my opinion. I'm sure Verstappen will be vilified at Silverstone.

(also before the braking zone you are only allowed to move once, before the crash he was moved away from the white line, because he thinked Lando will try to go inside again, but when he realized he moved to the outside, he changed his direction AGAIN, the 2nd defendig move isn't allowed, especiall if it's inside the breaking zone)

It was risky driving. Lando nearly hit max twice to the point he had to move. Lando decided not to move off the track and crashed unlike max avoiding landos dive bombs. In the post race interview he was very mature unlike lando who was putting their friendship on the line. They both took risk and this happened, it's racing and it would be boring if everyone was cautious and apologised for their mistakes that are controversial

It's false that only Hamilton and Leclerc were capable of fighting cleanly with Verstappen. Ricciardo did that as well. (If you're gonna bring Baku 2018 as a reason to exclude Ricciardo you should exclude Hamilton as well for 2021, but both would be wrong)

Verstappen did not move over, on both onboard camera shots looks like he veered to the outside of the turn. But from the drone or helicopter view, Verstappen was only angled toward the outside and kept the same angle. Lando had a choice, hit Max or the brake. Lando chose to hit Max. If I saw it any other way, I'd say it.
The driving from Lando was a bit wayward with the dive bombs but max was completely in the wrong turning left into lando thrn to try and run him off the track is just poor and shows his lack of sportsmanship. Max always has been and always will be a dirty driver

Same old Verstappen, once a cheat always a cheat. His team literally cheated to win his first WC (basically unpunished budget cap breach, which kept him in the championship, and getting the race director to blatantly ignore the rules so he could get right behind on fresh tyres to win it), and he's always done this, and always will unless he's punished. He's not a worthy World Champion as far as driving style is concerned because it's always the other driver who has to back out to avoid an accident. I mean, when a rule is brought in to combat something he has always done (moving under braking) then something is clearly amiss. @@mauriciogomero9049 Schumacher got the hate and still does to a certain extent. I like Schumacher, but I didn’t start watching f1 till 2001, after his more controversial incidents happened. I also don’t respect some of the things Schumacher did earlier in his career.
As for max, he does have an anger issue still. Do I think that was a main factor in this incident, probably not. But Max is a very aggressive driver that has pushed the boundaries for aggressive overtaking and defending and has gotten away penalty free more times than he should have in the current rules.
And yes, M.Schumacher got away with his fair share of penalties also. I also think one of the greatest passes made on Schumacher was by Montoya in Malaysia in 2002 (he believe)

You “pundits “ keep saying Verstappen turned under braking. The in car shot shows the steering wheel was not turned. It is acceptable for British drivers to crowd people off according to you. At best Norris misjudged the closing speed with DRS and did not react in time. It was never going to be a clean pass by Norris. He needs to clean up his driving style if he wants to win races at this level. Probably why he has only one win.
The wheel was turned to the left, the data shows it, the in car camera showed it. Max even admitted he opened the wheel. You ok???
He was driving across the line under braking. There was room to the outside as they entered the braking zone which he closed off under braking instead of holding his line. He is trying to find a loophole by steering in the instant of applying brakes. He knows exactly what he is doing and is trying to find the loophole to allow him to get away with it.

So just for reference. In 2016 when rosberg was found guilty he also had not “turned the wheel to the left” but he was found guilty on the basis that he had not turned in the same manner as he done for all the previous laps of the race. Deliberately leaving the car to drift wider than usual. I’m not saying max turned left but there are other ways to get the car to be more left. People mentioned it for Lewis touching people by turning the car with throttle or lack there off to get it to under or oversteer so it does not have to be a turn to the left of the steering to be deemed that he was wrong against Norris
People hate on Verstappen because he’s the best. You have to realize how much training he HAD to go through as a kid leading up to F1. His father was super harsh on him and basically abused him to be this good. It’s sad to see people basically discredit his ability just because they can’t accept that he is the best. He plays the way he does cause he isn’t going to let an opportunity slip away like others.

Lando on SKY news today, said both were to blame... Look at the on-board footage of Max he never steered left. Also just before Lando made contact, Max steered away.

If a driver dive bombed me twice and both times went sailing off the road I'm not sure that driver could say he drove perfectly. It was try a hail mary time after time. Yes... no double moves allowed but was so slight and left enough racing room. I don't think a couple other elite drivers wood had gotten into an accident there. Alonzo...hamilton. ..leclare. but i do think this might help lando become an elite driver if indeed he has the mental to be one
