Wow! Cool. Didn’t know that these were worth trying. Thank you for comparing these against original brands. I’ve been using W-Audio power cables via Amazon to great effect. Also replacing Wireworld PC’s. Definitely going to look into this one 🙏🏼
Sometime in future I will do another round of comparisons with my original Wireworld Aurora, Stratus and Nordost Blue Heaven. The thing is they are in my secondary Stax setup and due to my furniture access to them is a nightmare. I will do it some day though as I need to replace some XLRs there anyway.

I had two of these Nordost Golds. It's have a really good price/quality value. They sounds really good. And have a really high wife tolerance factor too :) Good to look at with the nice wood blocks. I replaced them with Monosaudio 902s
Haii, can I plug these audio hifi cables directly to PC ? Im having feeling it will improve something. I already see an improvement, big time in quality, just by throwing out my extension plugs in power cord(had 3 of these made insane ground loops with audio losing details). So im seeing this cable as another win. Have fun with exploring more cables! Nice topic you run thru, thank you for that. Without ppl like you, we wont reach next level of evolution.
Thank you for your kind words. I'm using one of these cables with my gaming PC but I think it's more like placebo there. However, I have a separate micro PC for my listening purposes and there I have 12V linear power supply, which makes real difference over standard wall wart. I guess less hf distortion, EMI makes way to DAC over USB cable ground and +5v lines. Go ahead and try it!
@@k4syx Got on my way AkLIAM LC5, Nordost Odin power cable and also I had revelation, cause for my speakers HECO Aurora 300 these small details do differences, im reading stuffs on "Audio Asylum" about cable speakers and I was thinking it's still RCA topic right.... meanwhile im looking at my speakers and this cable coming out of them to my amplifier. And im like "oh Schiit no way, no...!". I cant look at mirror until my new silver speaker cables come to my room. I read so many ppl on aliexpress see differences with them...fast shopping done. I will experiment with them and maybe share some ideas.
Just got mine today....2 cables 0.75cm each.

I have this cable but I don't use it.
I use a fake Furutech Alpha PS-950 cable for my amplifier and the Accuphase cable for my DAC.

I have 2 of the Odin 2 PCs one on my amp and one on my Audio Alchemy PS-5 outboard power supply excellent. They replaced 2 WireWorld Eclipse which were much more expensive, but not as good

@@guy85354 start from the source and move down the chain. The biggest gains are at the source (DAC or CD).

According to your recommendation, I ordered the ODIN GOLD power cable
I'm not impressed. it sounds quite empty, not dynamic and muffled. It also stifles musicality via PC. It only sounds acceptable as a connection for a linear power supply and with a 3ts20 on the amplifier. Maybe the cable is bad. It is a rigid and solid cable. Can the sound be improved somehow?
What is the rest of your setup? Where are you connecting this cable, which device?
Did you give it enough time for burn in?
Can you post the link to where exactly you bought this cable? Ive seen Many different distributors on aliexpress

@@k4syx i do, i would just be sad to buy a bad fake one, because this one looks good. Right now i use Blue heaven so if i Can save money and improve Then that a win win
what about RCA cables? do you recommend changing them?
I have a few lined up for review (I have more stuff to share than time to make videos). All in all yes the better ones sound better (like with XLRs) but to my surprise (and that doesn't really give the scale) power cables, especially with source equipment (like DAC) make bigger difference than speaker cables and ICs. Which is astonishing and really unexpected - at least for me. I'll cover this in my video with summaries for all cable types that I've tested. Since I do this for myself anyway (I was going for some changes in my system) I thought I can share along the way.

No idea actually. I've never heard the original, the real one costs more than my whole setup. All 3of them actually+my car, I think ;)

What is the propensity of this cable? Is it neutral? Or is it a cable that has certain strengths on either side?
Neutral, clean and a bit "dry". Doesn't add any bass or treble if that's what you mean

@@boerik9519 bass is fast and precise, some may say that it's lean, but it's just fast. It's not bleeding into mids.
Mids are ok: just fine, precise, nothing extra good or extra bad standing out. They blend with the rest without attracting attention.

Hey! What are the best power cable for the money you've ever heard?
Shunyata Venom from real ones. I stop hearing any sound changes in cables above 300-400usd price mark. The changes become so miniscule that there's no point in spending more (to my ears, YMMV).
Fakes - the best I've heard is fake Silver Cloud.

It's more effective on a dac or on the amp?
@@k4syx I can’t find any power cables below $1000 that can do what the higher end models like the genuine Valhalla can. I’ve tried multiple brands with no success.
That includes this Odin gold fake that I purchased recently.
It’s very annoying for myself as I’m not wealthy enough to throw cables like Valhalla on everything & with my own testing I’m certainly missing out using cheaper alternatives.
