  • We took on a 6.0 DUPR Pickleball Player in the PPA Cincinnati Pro Qualifiers. Kevin Dong (5.24) and Garrett Singletary (5.04) vs Carl Hilliard (5.98) and Alexander Crum.

    You didn’t beat a 6.0 dupr. You ganged up and beat an unrated dupr and barely won at that.

      The “unrated” player ended up winning the USA indoor national championship and is now a 5.99 DUPR in singles… so he’s pretty dang legit too

      @@KevinDongPickleball You guys played an awesome game and are excellent pickleball players. The unrated player is obviously a great singles player (most good tennis players are), but he obviously is not as skilled at doubles, especially at the net. So, while you guys did great targeting him and mostly hitting at the 6.0 player after the unrated player popped it up, it's one thing to have a logical strategy and another to execute it. So congrats on executing the strategy and keeping the 6.0 player on ice. That's how to do it!
