At beginner level this is true, but you can have fun and this does not apply to many sports. Once you start to be good it’s really starting to be physically tough but less than tennis or squash for sure
@@epicquickercrbs3130 never really tried seriously but on amateur level I won 2 of the 3 tournaments I played. Grew up on a futbol and padel family. Padel and tennis are both beautiful sports and really different actually, ask any tennis player that gave padel a chance and they would tell you...
Pickleball looks like a sport for senior citizens, sorry. Go padel! Also if you have played tennis you will for sure enjoy padel and the transition is relative easy and you will pick it up pretty quick to certain point. If you want a sport that is easy to learn but hard to master and also demands physical effort and conditioning then padel is the sport in comparison to pickleball. I mean sure I have only played a few balls in pickleball and only watched a few matches but so far I haven't seen anything that looks physically demanding in any way.
@@devpatel7154Nice to hear! Then you have to at least try padel if you have a court near where you live. I have yet to hear someone trying padel and not get hooked more or less. Even people who never played any sport but likes to workout in general has got hooked. 😉 Also to nitpick a little padel vs pickleball, the sound from the impact of the ball. I mean in tennis and padel you have that nice sounding "pow" when you hit the ball good while in pickleball it's just "pling, plong" like it sounds like toys or a kids game, sorry. And that alone makes padel and tennis superior to pickleball. 😉😁 Anyway on recreational level I have talked to many older people coming from tennis and they say padel is great as an alternative when your body isn't fit for tennis anymore. And in general many things in tennis is usable in padel too which make it somewhat similar and good sport to transition to without starting from zero so to speak. So you still get something like tennis but still something new and different. 👍 Since tennis is big in the US so I really hope padel can get traction and appeal in the US and I can't see why it won't. And if so that could probably make a huge difference for the sport because US is an important market for every sport. 👍 I guess by my rant or long comment about padel you might assume I am hooked on padel. I have played tennis in the summers when I was younger but soccer was my mainthing for larger part of my life. Then quit soccer when I got "old". Then did some gym for maybe two years but it became boring so quit and then did nothing in terms of exercising for many years. Then I found padel it was like a I saw the light or this is my calling. 😁 Now I am obsessed and the only thing I regret is that I didn't find and tried this earlier when I was younger. Anyway I digress...😁

I remember this, Paddle Tennis was a hot new sport in rhe 1970s Padel is same game with glass instead of chickenwire. Twas a Country Club sport for winter tennis players. Seems like a lot of BS, its miniature tennis for people who cant handle tennis aka easier.
Everyone who says padel is a downgrade version of tennis has never played a match in their life... Yes tennis is the ultimate racketsport no doubt BUT even the best tennis players would get DESTROYED by a mediocre padel enthousiast.
Putting up glass costs 90 k per court not counting the court and net so good luck..fail
glass is not the only way to build the court. Argentina is a country with no money and has over 5,000 courts...
@@JimNZits called Paddle Tennis, use chickenwire
Padel is for middle managers who are not good enough athletes to play tennis.

Perhaps, but it requires skills that tennis doesn't. This makes it difficult in its own way.

Ha! I don’t think so … in fact, I think pickleball should just take their name :) haha
Good
Padel not = paddle in my head.
This is the first time I’m seeing this sport

PICKLEBALL IS KING.
nah
Paddle is for people who cant play tennis and have frustration issues, so worldwide there is a lot of frustrated people, voilà
And judging from you visiting a padel video just to rant about it, you are one of those frustrated people as well 😂
Played both: Paddle is more fun, way more fun.
