    Lisa Jakub, who played the older sister in Mrs. Doubtfire, lived in that house during the trial. By then it was owned by family friends of hers who had zero connection to the family or crime. She was still a teenager. She writes in her book about tourists yelling at her through the gate that the "boys" were innocent. She also describes realizing what room the murder took place in, while sitting in that room.

    My connection to the Menendez murder house...
    I was working at an interior design firm, and one of our clients, producer Ivan Reitman, lived about 5 houses south of the Menendez's! It's the house with arched french doors, iron fence/rock pillars, that you walked past. At the time we briefly thought it was Ivan and his wife who were killed, until the news clarification!
    Years later, I went to an open house on the right side, once owned by Groucho Marx! The wall with white rose bushes wasn't there at the time, it was open lawn. The upstairs guest room on the left, featured a window which overlooked the Menendez house, providing a view right into the leisure/family room!! Less than 20 feet away. Very creepy! I had goosebumps! 😨 In this video there is a tall hedge blocking the house on the right.

It's a rectangular white mansion with a circular drive in front of it. 722 Elm Street Beverly Hills. According to GrimmCollective, musician Prince lived there before Menendez. And musician Elton John lived there before Prince.

    Yep! The Mendez boys. Those trials were really well covered, and I don't think we've missed hearing anything at all that went on in that house, but I can't help but wonder if there's that much truth to all of the accusations of abuse. I don't know, but if there is, then I truly don't blame them for what happened, but WHY THE MOTHER????? Why take HER life????

    • @luv3daysgrace1
      @luv3daysgrace1 5 лет назад +2

Prior to knowing about the murders, every time I would take a shower, I would her a lady, and a man yelling, a baby crying, and a policer officer knocking on my front door announcing himself. I would turn off the faucet and the voices would stop. I then turn on the faucet, and the voices started again. 😮😮😮

    Hello, I know what I am about to tell you has nothing to do with this vlog, but it is about a Vlog you posted previously. The Twilight Zone movie segment with Vic Morrow wasn't actually originally supposed to end with a redemption scene. Vic' s character was originally going to be thrown into a box car and sent to the camp. Landis wanted that ending, the studio thought it was too dark and wanted a bit of a happier ending. Thus the tragic redemption scene that went wrong. So the studio has some guilt. Loved this Vlog though. It was very interesting that the current owners don't have any gates or anything up. Maybe they like the tourist attention from people out of state.

Same with the Tate-Labianca murders and Terry Melcher/Brian Wilson, they go on and on in Hollywood. Obviously I cant speak for them. But I am a survivor of severe abuse growing up. But my family did not have money. Some days (many) I would not eat or have very little. As a small child, your thoughts are completely different. But as you get older, you realize you have an option, a possibility, a means of stopping the hell you are in. There is hate, rage, anger and pain built up. For me, it was very easy to simply walk away. Disappear. I knew how to do without. These boys did not. They came from money. Some people say they killed them out of greed. But I think they simply could not see how to survive without money. They had no means of money, other than from the hands of their captors, ie, parents. I think they only saw one real way out. I am not defending them. Its just not as black and white as people see it. I think maybe in their minds, either they die, or they kill their parents. Or they conrinue living the abuse. Had they just held on a few more years, maybe they could have found the right path out. Sad world in which we live. Thankful for smiling faces like Jordans!

Thank you I’m glad you did this story. I’d love your take on this. Do you think they were molested? Or were they spoiled, greedy, and entitled? I’ve struggled with this case for years.And Jordan do you remember where you were when they announced the boys were guilty? Usually murder victims know their killers, I can't believe those Lyle and Erik were not tested for gun powder police look at relatives first and see if they can eliminate them as suspects or not. I wonder though if those guys wanted to eventually get caught cause of one confessing to the therapist. I Have heard of patient confidentiality but I could never keep that a secret if I was their therapist I would go to the police I think most people would.

    I thought they were renting the house because they were having a house built. I remember hearing that somewhere but I could be wrong. So awesome though!!!

    For some reason Jordan’s older
    videos keep being recommended. Great & still
    to this day like his vids but he has a 95% attitude change. Kinda sad
