If I were you I would rip the bandage already and not use the Input ( Old System ) and rather use the new one. Although not very intuitive, you will not regret it later on. Puppy showing up was cute. Good luck on your project, don't burn out and do keep an organized micro-management of the project or this won't last more than some weeks.
I didn't use the new input system because I read a lot of people online saying how it was over complicated. After looking more into it, I can definitely see its advantages, thanks for the tip!
so much work in this yt video. im sure i know why you stopped uploading plus you are also stuck at an error in the code i guess^^ i love the approach that you use c++ instead of blueprint tho
Thanks so much! I haven't stopped uploading, just going for a monthly schedule. I'm releasing a new video in 2 days! If I ever don't upload it's much more likely that i'm procrastinating editing than anything else (least favorite part of game/dev video making for sure :P)
as another (rookie) dev I feel that pain of just realising that what you were doing is terrible and you prob have to re-write it (however with 2d I dont have to deal with vectors as much 😎)
The model and the animations look fantastic. Really excited for devlog two.
Love your sense of humour! Dev ON !!!!!
Amazing, excited to see this game progress!
You and me both!
I barely know how to make games I'm just a beginner. video like this inspire me a lot.👍
If you have a vision of something you want to make, don't overthink it. Just go for it!
@@Holo___X School 😭

Very, very cool project!
Glad you like it!

Honestly, I accept it as part of the process. It only hurts when I previously considered something to be "finished" :)
