Got a bsa ultra mmc, great gun, kral nop2 is a good one to, one thing to do is clean the barrel on the kral, when i say clean its like cleaning a badly messed up home cooker, barrel is packed with solid black grease, pull through no good, it needs good degraser, when its clean it shoots amazing 40 yards pellet on pellet, if you dont clean the barrell it wont group period, thanks good video,
One of my bottles came from Leicestershire Airguns, the other from Midlands Diving equipment. All my fest fittings bits came from Leicestershire Airguns. The best fittings stuff is excellent. Highly recommend if you have more than one pcp.
Super stuff , and your evaluation of the rifles is spot on ( know a few who own these rifles ) .. shame you ain't doing any more vids for a while , really enjoyable watching and listening ..
Thanks Mark, as always apreciate the feedback. I will be putting a video out on a Webley Venom Viper soon. Hopefully get some more off test subjects off Leicestershire Airguns and I will upload the interesting ones!
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I don’t know much about the NP03. My view has always been pick the rifle you feel most comfortable with. Try and find a retailer that will let you shoulder and at least dry fire the rifles you are interested in. You are spending a good chunk of cash. Make sure you buy something you really like.
Nice vid. Lovely Ultra. I,ve had a few attempts at 3d printing a moderator/silencer over the last couple of years. Some have been very, very quiet. Sadly none have lasted more than 50-60 shots. Verdict, a sense of achievement when they work, but not worth it in the long run.
Wow 3D printing your own silencers. That is awesome! I believe there is information online to help develop solutions. See if you can find a US forum. They normally have more people trying stuff out than we do in the UK. Wish you all the best. Keep at it it, you never know what you might come up with!
Thanks,. I am glad the vid was of interest. Makes it worth while doing them! I can’t be of much help I am sorry to say. I have only been lucky enough to have a bit of time with the NP02. For the price you pay for the NP02 though, I think it is. a great rifle (carbine!?!?)
very nice half way vintage beesa there! who did that pretty handle for it ? this type trigger control & follow through is to punish you with springers...
Not sure who did the stock. Yes I am working on better trigger control and follow through! 🤣 My original MMC ULTRA is a far nicer shooter than this newer SE.
@@gardenguns Quite possible mate, Micro Movement Cocking guns are searched after. I like my mmc single shot 177 in tact stock very much. With high power scope it does 50 meter 5 shot groups within 8 mm indoors... Boringly accurate, even before XTX reg plus tune. But I do wonder how that pellet always wants to settle backwards in the tray???
If I was going to buy one, I would get it chronographed to check it”s power level. Low 10ft/lb and I would say good out tho 30 yards, low 11 ft/lb and I would be happy out to 40 yards.it is not so much about power at these ranges and more about pellet trajectory and range estimate. The other thing is to learn it’s power curve as it is in-regulated. If you can group under an inch and the power is there, the rifle, and you are good for pest control.
You look so comfortable with that stock on the bsa plus I’m biased …. Kral … well it’s a bit hit and miss they don’t have the best reputation for accuracy …. BSA well they are awsome spring guns and pcps are in the top of the best in the world
Cheers John. The stock on that ultra was superb. It will make somebody a great rifle. With a bit of money spent on it, it would be a brilliant for HFT.
I have always used spring air guns and I am looking to purchase my first PCP gun. I don't want to spend a fortune. I was looking at the Kral puncher and a few others under the £600 mark. Any suggestions would be appreciated??
I Highly rate the Gamo fox package as a starter. Rifle, pump, scope all in the package. Small reservoir so pumping is a bit of a chore but not visit to the emergency room.
i didnt bother watching the ultra.i wanted to see more 40yrd+ reviews. what struck me was despite the kral being kind of pistol looking the actual moderated length is not far off a lot of carbines.accuracy wise the reviews need a statement that "this is the best pellet !" or else find it . apart from the shot count maybe the gammo phox would have been a better comparison
I would love to be able to do the comparison between the kral and the phox as well as the pellet tests. Unfortunately I am not big enough channel to be able to approach distributors directly so I am limited by what I get from Leicestershire Airguns to test before the rifles go out on the second hand racks. The same goes for the pellets. Because they go through most things well I stick to JSB Exacts and AA Diablo Field for the rifle tests.
You will always get a better group from single shot gun, this is why target shooters use them. Why are you making excuses for the ultra, you need one with a magazine to truly compare them.
Great review, shot a NP02 recently and was blown away. What a bargain
Thanks Roy. Yep the Np02 is a amazingly good rifle for the price. All the best.
Very enjoyable mate looking forward to more Cheers
Thanks casper. hopefully be able to get some more rifles to review soon.

@@gardenguns okay keep them coming mate nice to see some one new did you get the 300 bar bottle from best fitting lol for your r10

sos i meant to say the 300 bar bottle to go on your r10 from best fitting ok ed
Ahh no. It is the bottle that came with the rifle from BSA
Great review and good advice, thank you 👍
Cheers Nick. Glad you enjoyed it.
My npo2 is awesome... 40 yards pellets on pellet with wit AA pellets and hades it gives my bsa r10 a run for its money
Can’t fault the NP 02 especially for the money. Cracking bit of kit.

I'm thinking of getting an np02 or np03, thinking for the extra money and not having the extra tank it's best just to get the np02??

Hi 👋 great vid can't decide between ata air bourn , np02 or zbroia Hortitsia on a .22 what will your opinion be on this 3
Thanks,. I am glad the vid was of interest. Makes it worth while doing them!

Hi I've been looking at the NP02 but can't seem to find any vermin control vids and wondered are they any good for the likes of rabbits? cheers

@@gardenguns thanks
I’d put my new empire x up against the bsa any day and be very confident in beating.
1/2” spinners at 45 yards is a doddle.
My old Ultra is one of the best rifles I own!

Hi ya are these both 12ft lbs
Yep pretty close. If I remember I think they were both around the 11ft/lb mark.
I rated the np 02 and the price cheers Shane
Yes, for the money it is a great little gun!

Scopes not the best!
@@gardenguns i found that on my last springer I bought a remington tyrant with 4 x 32 scope and quickly changed it for a hawke fastmount scope

Not good enaught ?
Both great rifles, for different things.

Yes and same caliber!.
BSA Ultra? first thought...why? looks like a Juggalo engineer designed it!
The original Ultra was designed by the legend John Bowkett. I wouldn’t sell mine!
Unfair comparison .177 vs .22, we all know the outcome before he started.
Both of those rifles shoot like a lazer , if you can shoot and are more than capable of shooting 1 hole groups all day . Get a grip !
Mate my original MMC Ultra is an absolute demon!
