This is awesome. I had never thought about a lot of these ideas. Also, this is so much cheaper than the outdoor add-on section I was looking at getting built in my backyard!

What about cooking outside when it is raining? Can you use and cook with the oven while it is raining? I live in Oregon and the winters are wet. Any suggestions are appreciated

Yes! You can absolutely cook on an Ooni in the rain! We would just recommend drying it off and covering it when you're done! ☔️

@@Oonihq thanks for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it. I purchased a chimney cap. Would that be appropriate to use? Would you recommend using Natural Gas, or wood and charcoal. Or does it not matter?I have both available on my 16
      Again, thanks in advance

I jumped on the Ooni bandwagon somewhat earlyish, I got the Kona 16 when it first came out back in 2020. I would highly recommend getting a wood peel for launching and a metal peel to remove or turn. I am a "thrifty" person by nature and after only using a single metal peel to make, launch, turn, and remove the pizzas I got tired of the sacrificial 1st pizza and the sticking of almost every crust thereafter. Yes I dusted it, blew under it and everything else. I finally made a wooden pizza peel to launch them to see if it was really a thing.
Please, even if you are thrifty like me, get a wooden and metal pizza peel. The difference is amazing! They launch without problems and no sticking! Yes, you still need to dust then prior to putting the crust on them to insure an easy launch. If you're a beginner and buying into the pizza cooking ecosystem, consider a wooden and metal pizza peel as part of the required costs.
I break out the Ooni for family parties and usually make about 12 pizzas at a time. I prefer to have two stations as opposed to one. I like to have an "assembly" table and then a "cooking and cutting" table. I also like to have them facing each other (with me in the middle) so I only turn around instead of walking back and forth in front of a long table.

    Why am I hungry?
Would be interesting to see more suggestions of cooking spaces with Ooni. Not only different sizes but also more creative solutions like if you have a wall you can utilize, if you have a separate seating area instead for the serving, if you have somewhat limited space near the oven but can do some of the pizza prep/building and some prep (ingredients) in the kitchen in a clever way.

Just don't start adding up the cost of Ooni branded products!

Because all ovens fit on the medium table it seems like a waste of space to prep on hte medium table while the koda 16 is on the large table

I bought the topping station and that thing is huge. I never use it even when cooking for 6 people. You really need to be hosting a pizza party for it to pull its weight

Hey there, thanks for your feedback! When the Ooni Topping Station is not in use at a pizza party, you can use the topping containers to keep the freshness of different ingredients in your fridge, even if you're not making pizza! 💛

WHY do you show WOOD (at 0.34) while talking about storing your FUEL? - It runs on GAS

The Karu 12G can be used with gas or solid fuel (wood/charcoal). 😎
