I recently bought the same one, but brown.
I'm probably going to have a few comments on this one as I'm commenting real-time as I watch the video. Gauging my criteria of flatability vs. yours, I'm happy to say we are in agreement. I tend to make it a game to guess what rating you will give a binder to test myself. The last few binders I've rated them exactly the same as you.
I used a Hamilton for well over a year before replacing it with a Burlington, absolutely loved it as a working tool for many of the same reasons you mention, and only really changed away because I didn't like the looks (not the biggest fan of light stitching on dark leather, or the meshed ID card holder).
The pen loops were definitely one of the big benefits, it was the same configuration as on yours with one over sized pen loop on the left (fits a Frixion marker well) and a regular sized on the right (perfect for a Parker Jotter). I do prefer an over sized loop over the pencil sized ones that you'll usually get.
Also the back pocket is something I really liked, and wish more binders would have. I liked not having rings in the way when adding and removing things from it.

That pen loop is the business. Filofax, Please bring this style of pen loop back. It could be that the previous owner stretched the pen loop leather but if you have experienced it on other models, it may be a design feature. I hope the later is true.
Would you ever review any other binders like moterm, IMO they trump Filofax with the replaceable rings!

@@Flatability unfortunately not, I managed to sell it to someone because the woman who runs VDS (Petra?) was unhelpful. The gist of it was I ordered stiffener as I’m not so keen on floppy planners (opposite to you lol) and she forgot to put the stiffener in it lol.
I guess mistakes do happen. As a seller, I've made mistakes too. Hopefully it was a "one off".
