That would be perfect for travelling. I can imagine tickets and other reference info in the back pocket. Or for use by someone who is on the move all the time and needs a lot of business cards - like a real estate agent or building inspector. It appears to be drawing on Filofax's roots as a military reference file of facts, and I think it's very practical.

The inside full length pockets seem useful for adding a notebook of the Feild Notes persuasion. I do that with my Winchester.

Saw a LandRover version with the outer pocket in canvas once. And the company logo on it.

Never saw any marketing from Filofax but I’m surprised to hear it is mostly targeted at women. Nowadays yes but in the nineties too?

Yes, I did sell it. This model is incredibly popular at the moment.
The need to spell out "Faux" gave me the evil concept of "Foe Leather" - the tanned hides of my enemies. Rather lost my concentration thereafter. I may not be as nice as I hoped.
It is generally a female thing, writing or logging life events voluntarily! There are many exceptions such as yourself, but I've never managed to encourage a man to keep a diary. Even with tiny toddlers, its always seems to be the girls who start writing 'to do' lists!
I think you're right. Although I'm pleased that I am a diarist. An interesting point, which I might discuss in a future podcast.

You might be interested to know that a few planner influencer folks I follow have taken a liking to this Filofax Ranger - months back - so many people might be on the look out after those people featured the Filofax ranger in their feeds and videos. Many people follow on the trend!
This sudden interest in the ranger model is very interesting.
I've had this in my collection for a while, but thought it was the right time to sell.
