Just ordered a new pair of ear pads from a place called wicked cushions, tried following their tutorial for hesh/skullcrusher ear pads where they used hesh's in the video, it didn't work at all and was super frustrating and with your method I got these on in minutes, super helpful!
I got it, but now i have to replace it! I took it off originally to check for bugs, because it's summer, and I left them at the house, while I was on vacation for the week of 4th of July. When I found your video, I did what you said, but one side has a weak spot and the rubber was torn from the leather 😆 it was only an inch & 1/2, so not terrible, but I like having my things in pristine condition. I will be ordering replacements soon! Thank you for the tutorial, I was starting from the little notches, too get them around the screws, but that just wasn't working out lol
For those who are doing it, you could fully grab the tab from below to stretch it on like a sock, took me a full minute to get both on with this method. Tuck the top like he said and stretch the rest on like a sock. Same idea as trying to fit the mouth of a balloon on a tube. You would need to hold on whichever part your tucking in to get stuck on properly. Thanks for the video bro! (Skullcandy Crusher Evo user)
You can wipe them with a disinfectant hand wipe. However, if they really smell bad you will need new pads. Sometimes the sweat etc has already got into the foam and there is no way to wash that.
They are great headphones other then the pads coming off on there own.. Ive had three pair with protection plan and now they discontinued this model. It will cost another 100 plus to replace with equivalent headphones. Any idea where I can get replacement pads?

@@accessoryhouse the ear pad on the volume side is the only one that wears out due to normal use. In three years I have never replaced the ear pad on the left ear phone ( side with the bass switch)

You can use a disinfect wipe to wipe them down etc. They are pu leather, so soaking in water isn't great. It would help ruin the pu leather and also the sponge on inside would be hard to get soap out of completely
@@duncanidaho998 Yeah, that happens. Eventually the sweat etc seeps into the foam and once that happens the smell starts. In that case you will want new ones I think.

I think I might have to buy a whole new replacement as my pleather has stretched so much it wont stay in the little ridge :( (Note Its come out on its own and I was trying to figure out how to get it back in its keeper. I havent stretched it, it’s just really hot where I live).

Mu issue is that the leather ripped and got stuck in the headphones upon removal
You will need some tweezers I think. Should be able to get a hold on the material in the slot and then you could cut it so it does not snap back in.
