When you can't decide between going fully electric or going with a traditional hybrid, the new TX 550h+ is the perfect PHEV compromise between both and this TX is a special member because of its 3.5L V6 and 2-electric motor combination. We hope this combination eventually makes its way under the hood of other Lexus products, and while this technology is certainly not new in this space, the Lexus TX does offer one of the most spacious interiors in its class.

    • @naveenthemachine

Unfortunately not more spacious than the telluride palisade wagoneer traverse

      @@tony2tooth661 how? Where do I begin?😂
The telluride palisade look far more upscale inside and out. Better design and materials and even better build quality too. They offer better technology and more features like massaging seats, heated 3rd row, nicer leather and ambient lighting. And more interior space and up to 8 seats. Not to mention they drive better than the TX. They’re significantly faster than the base tx350. The 500h isn’t much faster but it’s significantly more expensive. And the 550h is the only way to get a naturally aspirated v6

I am going to guess anyone who can afford to buy these vehicles have garage where owners like to leave it unlocked for the convinces. I am going to guess enough people complained about auto locker feature to get rid of all recent new vehicles. guessing "wood" and chrome trims slowly disappearing from Lexus vehicles because of cost. I am glad Lexus finally phased out the touch pad and joystick controller but I like to see more visual impact like exterior chrome pieces and wood/real-fake interior. finally new Lexus have good touch head unit with large screen and decently quick response. What difference does a few seconds make? Plus, with the app, I don't need to be near the car. The best part of using it is when I'm 20 minutes from leaving work, I turn on my car from inside the building far away (where no fob would ever work). By the time I get to it, it's all toasty with the steering wheel and seats warm too. Just buy an Acura or GMC for this type of money. I don’t care. Lexus should include at least a standard sunroof. There was a time when most of all if not all Lexus cars came with a sunroof as standard. From ES, IS, GX, LX, GS, can go on and on. Lexus went from being a main German Luxury competitor to now second grade luxury. With the exception of the LX/LS. Everything under the LS/LX seems more like an Infiniti & Acura competitor. Even the Jeep Grand
Cherokee Summit Reserve is nicer than this…. And Jeep is not good to me. Interestingly enough Genesis is sorta taking that spot previously that Lexus had. Lexus still has great cars, but they just don’t scream ULTRA OR EXECUTIVE LUXURY anymore. They just feel like the better Toyotas. Kinda like the Avalon and Venza used to be. BMW, Mercedes, and Audi are all more expensive. But they have reason, sorta.

GMC is more of a luxury brand and has done a better job differentiating the all-new Acadia from the all-new redesigned Traverse than Lexus. There really is no difference between this TX and the Toyota Grand Highlander yet there’s a larger price difference between this and the Toyota compared to the *gm* twins. Makes me wonder how large Toyota profits are here.
Both the Acadia’s exterior and interior design are more upscale than this Lexus TX, blows this out of the water in luxury & technology and that’s high praise for GMC.
Soyfan, you always give Cadillac lots of crap for their new nomenclature which to be much simpler than Lexus naming strategy and nomenclature which you never complain about despite how confusing and overly complicated _it_ is. Lexus could certainly simplify the names and trim level structure.
