Love it. I see you're rocking banana switches. Do you recommend them? I got the K3 pro with reds thinking it will be quiet, but I was so wrong. Any recommendation how to dampen the sound?
I use the bananas as my daily driver. I haven't tried to dampen the sound on the K7, but I remember seeing 3ildcat doing a mod on another low profile keyboard. I guess you could try to add foam in the case, the spacebar, if possible, and maybe you could even fit a single o-ring on the switches. I have also never lubed any of my switches or stabs on the K7.
Thank you. The deskmat works sooooo well with white peripherals. It is this one: drop.com/buy/teacaps-ritual-desk-mat?searchId=c257476ebe320d7cf2448f7358407d9b Use this link for a $10 discount on signup: drop.com/?referer=QAA3VT (affiliate link)
@@pctxx Yeah. Browse around a bit as well. I bought this alternative earlier. I like the bright blue in deskmats paired with a bright wood desk and white keycaps. amzn.to/3Rgl6uN (affiliate link)
Good thinking. It's hard to explain. Maybe it's not that they are heavier. I just feel it requires a bit more force compared to the original. Dunno if that makes any sense at all. lol
How's compatibility then? It says not compatible with k3 pro but does that mean compatible with k3 max? Or max is the same as pro and therefor not compatible with the set?
I'm still astonished that they sell ISO keyboards, yet refuse to support them with alternate keycaps. It's basically impossible to replicate them even if you mod a set that has the right keys for the weird proprietary stabilisers, because the Enter key is about 3mm smaller than in any standard set. Utter madness, and there really is no point to it other than being hostile to their customers.
Looks wise, the trackpad looks better than a busted old Kana. The M3 also made an appearance and I could have placed an MX 3S or something there as well. Do you like the keys at least? :)
I so prefer spherical profile keycaps to cylindrical. They just look and feel so much nicer, IMO.
I like lots of different looks. This, is one of my favourites as well:

If I'm replacing keycaps, I want to specify extra legends. And pick colors.
That's not something I can find in the Keychron shop.
Hi, thx for a video. Are they shine-through key caps or usual ones?
These are not shine through :)

So clean!
Noice video…I just purchased the K17 Max…waiting for it to turn up. Where did you get the ESC key cap from?
The entirely white set looks neat! Also love the desk mat, mind sharing where did you get it?

No shine thru is crazy!
Sometimes we gotta live the wild life 💪🏼
Low profile is almost impossible to find. Especially if you want custom colors with a backlit option -_-
i want a keychron k7 pro with a audio wheel.. noone provides this
have you tried the keychron transparent keycaps? i didn't see any review for that yet.
if they were heavier, wouldn't they be easier to press?

Amazing, but it's always sold out :(
Damn the white and black are 30$ a set.
That's not too bad for keycaps ;)

if you "upgrade" to a trackpad don't talk to me
