@UNCLE401 I'm looking that way, too! Something tells me the chiefs are gonna step up big! It's a massive ask to get the W at the cake tin, but it is finals! We shall see🫡
The Blues without Paddy and Akira uncertain at the moment seems he is nursing an injury, which suggests the Brumbies will be looking to put the Blues pack under the pump ,game plan ,play the game in Blues 22
I like your optimism, but the simple fact is that no one leaves Auckland alive! I sense the chiefs are gonna want payback from the canes, getting the chocolates from them late in the regular season at the tron🤔🤨 they're gonna be gun games, though!
Go the mighty Canes, even after all the crap being said about super rugby being not as good as other rugby comps,i would rather watch super rugby than any other comps around the world
If super rugby wasn't any good, it wouldn't have produced a team that lost a world cup by 1 point, 15 on 14 players. But in reality its not much of an indicator because SA have only won one club rugby championship in 20 + years.
The Brumbies have a really good defensive lineout with Cale jumping at 8. It was a weapon against the Landers but hasn't really been mentioned by pundits but it kind of reminded my of how the All Blacks used Retallick so effectively. I'm not sure how good the Blues lineout has been though but the Brumbies scrum has been very flakey. Kicking will be huuuuge (tactical and otherwise). It looks as though it's raining in Auckland. Brumbies only have a 6 day turn around which includes losing a day with travel. Going to very tough against the Blues who go in as massive favourites.
I believe this Blues team is better than the one that lost the 2022 Super Rugby Pacific Grand Final. Vern Cotter in his first season in charge has instilled in the players a hard edge, which has been missing for quite some time. That, and the Brumbies don't have the best track record in Semi-Finals at Eden Park, lost in 2022, and in 2003
Yeah I reckon on paper the Blues v Brumbies looks like it'll be less of an even matchup than Canes v Chiefs... but then again I thought the Reds would push the Chiefs last week... so who knows!
Picking a canes v blues final, in part due to their defences Reckon the blues really could put a score on Brumbies and give them stuff all. Chiefs to take it close but lotsa defence in the second half against the reds might impact an 80 min performance
I predict a Blues Chiefs final. I cant see the brubies upsetting the blues butni can 100% see the Chiefs upseting the Canes. The last game the canes and chiefs played was very very close and the winner was picked by the refree with a terrable call. The Chiefs have found some very good form now. It will be close but i belive the Chiefs have the better bench
Hopefully aye - Slips played when the Brumbies hosted the Crusaders and got dominated. But the Saders scrum was all over the Blues one too not long later
Glad to see Angus Gardner as the refree for the Chiefs canes game as he has been the best refree so far this year imo. I think he will do a good job and be much better then the refrees the Chiefs have had
Hi Two cents rugby. Is there a rumour/confirmation on who the 12th team will be in Super Rugby in 2025? The plan was to bring the Jaguares back in for 2025? I saw news about this a few months ago when the rebels issues was announced? Or another Japan team?
Yeah it'll be an interesting one to see unfold. I don't think for 2025 - they're talking an 11 team comp with reduced playoff format (6 instead of 8 teams). Jaguares have been rumoured but 2025 might be too soon? It also may go against the whole idea of keeping things within one geographic region... but I dunno. I think Japan is a no-go given they've got the Japan League One on the go now
Well I made the bed and after my Reds went out swapped to the Blues! Met some of them in Johannesburg airport in Feb of 2020 coming back from a game on a qantas flight, turned out was last game before the political, so called, masters locked us up, so anyway Blues for me!
Blues vs Canes Final
@UNCLE401 I'm looking that way, too! Something tells me the chiefs are gonna step up big! It's a massive ask to get the W at the cake tin, but it is finals! We shall see🫡
Means Ben O'Keefe will get the final. A bit surprising, Gardener been the best ref all year
I agree Gardner has been great and been very clinical all year. He will do well in the Canes Chiefs game.
Good old Chiefs hater Ben once again for a final.
Blues might win and hurricanes will take damage on chiefs.and I think blues and hurricanes might to to the final
Hey - Carter Gordon has just signed with NRL club, the Titans!
Good riddance to him. I hope he enjoys his time in the inferior code.
Man that's crazy - had been rumoured for a while!
Silly boy
@@dermotbalaam5358 nah good move I reckon. Anyhow even if he stayed in union -- which super team would he play for now that the rebels are dead?
Yeah i saw that... sucks to see him go.
I will be at the Canes/Chiefs game. I think it is a 50/50 match. They're both worthy opponents for the Blues.
If the Blues can win on Friday, I'll be 100% behind the Chiefs ;)
Enjoy the Canes victory!! ;-)
The Brumbies are going to give your Blues a touch up I reckon. C'arn the Brums.
Hopefully it's a good game!
@@TwoCentsRugby My hope is for Brumbies and Chiefs wins so the Final can be in Canberra. :D
@@chickafergusonthis is my dream too, however unlikely. I think the chiefs are the more likely but will be cheering on the brums most.

Yeah Canes v Blues seems likely - but man I wouldn't mind the Chiefs doing my Blues a favour... assuming we can beat the Brums
I've already got $ on the canes so please chiefs, not this weekend.... Just having another look at their loosies and inside backs tho 😳
And its the Canes!!
These 2 games are going to be tough...
I still have to go with Hurricanes and Blues barring any stupid red card's....
The In there own words is also on Neon.
Chiefs Vs Blues 2024 final, Canes will burnout
Hopefully
Canes have been on rotation all season.
Not sure what the weather is doing this weekend if its wet it could make the games s lot closer.

Funny, i can see the Brumbies upsetting the Blues but not the Chiefs upsetting the Canes!
Rooting for the Chiefs so we get a home final
Cant get a Home final as both the blues and Brumbies finished above Waikato on the table.
@@markcourtney2205 as an Aucklander 😄
I feel like the Brumbies scrum will be very good this week with the inclusion of the 179game experienced guy named slipper

Don’t think the Burma have played their best yet. Here’s hoping.

I really don’t like supporting an Auckland team but I can’t support an Aussie team to beat them.
Welcome to Blues fandom mate
Blues fan here always support NZ teams.
Head says Canes & Blues…
Heart says Brumbies & Chiefs.
Good season either way.
Yeah that's about right I reckon

Welcome to the misery train mate! Let's see where our final station is!
Come on Blues!! ❤❤
Also those Brumbies players' eyes look really weird in those photos
Yeah they edited all their eyes for some reason.....
I have no SR affiliation but I'm a TC fan so come on Blues!
Good man 🤝
Top man.
🤙
If the Brumbies sort out there scrum they can win this
