Nique Dennis I would say he looked better this game than any game in 2014, but his anticipation in the 4th Q was like it was in 2014. Trusting himself and the vertical throw
no, 8:35 easily, or even the pass before that or the eventual td throw on that drive as well. but all 4 were great throws, JT was throwing strikes out there
is anybody else stumped by all the negativity he gets? he's amazing and is definitely an NFL caliber quarterback. look what he did here and against Wisconsin for just two examples. he should definitely be a first or second rounder and second still feels like injustice to him.
I can't even tell by the media that JT Barrett was a eligible quarterback this season, they are only talking about the same four or five guys SMH hopefully he gets on a good to decent team and he can make something out of himself like Dak Prescott
this barrett kid is not a team player you can tel on EVERY play that the first thought in his mind is that he will run the ball. he passes as a last resort because in his feeeble little mind the game is all about him. not a team player at all and alienates his receivers because they kow they just run theor A$$'s off and will be lucky to get the ball. Barrett just thinks he is the team. and so selfish Kind of reminds you of Vine Young who told America that hewould make them forget there ever was a Johnny Unitas...and you see where he is now..or more like...Vince who???? both barrett and young selfish jokes
The OL made him look good and still he holds the ball way too long... with a fast pass rush like the ones Bama and Bulldogs or Clemson he will be in trouble...I’m still not sold on JT.. from a buckeye fan...
True.. but which means he's gonna be dead with Bama/Georgia's pass rush.. No way he can hold the ball this long to avoid any pass rush. If you guys look at his problem a little closer for all big game losses including the embarrassing loss to Clemson last year, the common denominator for JTB is his decision making and the ability to throw the accurate pass given a good OL. Often times, he just hold the damn ball way too long and let the defenders to sack him or pressure him. He was like a dear running around with Clemson's pass rush. I was there in the stadium and saw how WR were open and he couldn't make the right decision. This year, for the games we blew out the opponents, Barrett also had tremendous OL protections and stood in the pocket for almost 10 freaking seconds. Let me know a QB in the country has this much time to throw the football. To me, the best game he's ever had was the 14 MSU game which he was pressured most of the time and he's got the right decision with quick release. Since then i have yet to see him do anything close to that. I give all the blames on Tim Beck.
He has that "it" Factor when all the chips are on the table he can touch greatness and deliver in the 4th quarter way to go JT! 💯💥🔥
Finally looked like 2014 JT. Proved many buckeye fans wrong, including me. Amazing
Collin Holton in my eyes, he surpassed 2014

Then the next week he threw 4 ints and reminded everybody how trash he really is
Liltoon614 yep, so glad JT is gone. On to Haskins
This man entered this game with one interception all season and he left it with the same count.
To be honest I doubted JT. We’ve seen him not play to his potential for so long . And he did it when we needed him the most . Salute
A M T agreed!
9:34 Best throw of the game

Happy Pancakes 9:34 shows how much heart, and how good he wants to be. 8:35 shows how good he can be.
msherwood even the camera at 8:35 thinks it’s a pick
I thought I was watching Troy Smith throwing darts like that

His issue has always been his consistency. To me he feels like another Jay Cutler in the NFL.
Gus Johnson the goat
@8:36 how the HELL that didn't get intercepted lol bomb ass throw by it barrett.
Moe 123 an Aaron Rodgers type of throw
Who's the announcer ?
DefNotInISIS Gus Johnson
Ronnie Caudill straight like that lol
sick as fuck !

denver needs to draft this guy man siemian is trashhhhh
Tyrod Taylor Jr
StevoIsBack looks like a better passer
I don't see him translating well in the NFL.

Look at the route concepts they're running he's holding onto the ball long by design. They're running a shit load of mesh, rubs, and clear outs.

90% of these throws are so mediocre. Just wish JT had more air on his throws.
True but he's not gonna be able to do any of this against Bama
