  • We recently visited D'Angelico Guitar's showroom in downtown Manhattan, and got to see (and play) a bunch of the company's electric and acoustic guitars. We also learned about the company's storied history, and check out the lounge area, which includes a fully equipped stage and a bar made of Marshall amplifiers.

I've been looking at these online for awhile now and was finally able to play one a few days ago - I was IMPRESSED! However, still not sure about dropping around $1500 on a Korean made guitar. Don't get me wrong, I lived in Korea for awhile and they built some great guitars, but the recent huge price hike on D'Angelicos put me off.

i guess it depends on if you get what you pay for? I've played lower cost guitars that sounded like $5000 guitars and visa versa. That's why I'd never buy one unplayed. Too risky.

Countries where guitars are made from dont mean so much anymore. You get some top class guitars like dangelico made in Korea for example. But I guess it’s always nice to say your guitar was made in the usa
