- New Dublin Saunter by Lethal Dialect
To support Dublin's bid to become the European Capital of Culture in 2020, Lethal Dialect was asked to draw inspiration from the tradition and the history of Dublin and bring in the vibrancy and power of modern music and Dublin culture. The song was inspired by 'The Dublin Saunter (Dublin Can Be Heaven)' composed by Leo Maguire and originally recorded by Noel Purcell in the 1940s.
See www.dublin2020.eu for more information on Dublin's bid to become European Capital of Culture 2020.

One of my favourite beats ever. The sample is perfect for the theme
‘I can’t fathom why our own people hate to hear their own accent’. 8 years later and this has finally changed. Lots of Dublin accents in popular hip hop and media. Shame it came too late for LD. Best to ever do it
Did he quit after the Cutting Room Floor album? Seems to have deleted most of his Social Medias (IG, Twitter). Easily one of my favourite Irish musicians. Real authentic feel to his music and the interviews he's done.
this is a surreal masterpiece, the rhymes are witty and smart as can be, and the beat and production dead on original. This is smart street wise hip hop linguistically inventive as say as Talip Kewli and EL-P in the states, hip hop that saves nations.

Proud to call this young scholar a friend. Savage jazzy feels with a sharp native tongue. One of the best out there.
