Have to take your metaphorical hats off to the man, showing he's a versatile artist, I see nothing wrong with IHH coming out with some new vibes, love it!
Lovin the new change, fresher style more chilled out LD is exactly what the Irish rap industry needs to get ye recognition it deserves! He's more talented than the majority of American rappers out there
Definitely one of the more forward thinking artists at the moment in this country, good to see hes not afraid of jumping straight into a new sound. Doing us proud :)
Mad that people think him talking about his relationship isn't an 'issue'. We have evolved to think about girls 24/7 but god forbid an artist should actually write about it!
4 fucking years old?!! And still as fresh as ever! I know you're following your own plan Paulie, but you need to drop some new shit, fella! Fuckin' living legend!!
The critical opinion of those with blatant narrow minds do not count. An appreciation of rap music shouldn't be founded on what accent the medium is being broadcast. Rap is poetry. it's real life. It's everything you encompass. It's your heart, your mind and your soul. If you feel you can appreciate and identify more with rappers with Atlantic accents then you should not feel to entitled to criticise what has come from someones mind. You are a fan of the product. Not the art.
Savage song im liking his new style not sayin there was anything wrong with the boom bap LD albums but the production on this is top of the range, cant wait for 1988
I understand where you're coming from and of course, a lot of it comes down to taste. I personally think some of his lyrics on this track are phenomenal and good artists don't like to repeat themselves so I'm glad to see him evolve. We know where the lads are from, we know they smoke etc. from their other videos, good to hear him talk about other things.
Quality as per Paulie....lovin' the summery beats too - a beauty for sure! The crabs in that bucket aint been able to stop ya rising to the surface and heading for the stratosphere - shine on man!
They haven't set a date for it yet but I wouldn't expect it'll be very long. Even after an albums finished it can take a while to sort other details before release.
The 1st proper Irish rapper to come out of the country. I think the 1988 album is going to make him. He's already out there . He's name is going round the UK and it will make it to America. Then he can say he actally made it. Well deserved bud :)
Will never loose Dialects realness mate insulted that you even suggested that about him, production of this song is key can see what hes aiming for he got that conspirical shit out of him now hes ready to hit it big, LD part 1 and 2 are still unbelievable to, dialects at his best.
Hes rappin about a conversation with his bird about him ,its not about their relationship ,hes just being poetic ,dont worry lads the contrast between this and lil wayne is vast ,we havent lost him yet
anyone who doesnt sick think does is a sick track need to listen to i again! so what he change his style for this song but his fundamentals are still there not all of his songs can be related to the intricacy's of life in finglas and what that life is normal like and if he was you'd be all complaining! wake the fuck up! LD keep it up
Who cares weather people don't like the accent or not? Listen to these lyrics and then listen to Lil Waynes, Gucci Manes etc... Most of them are meaningful about Money, Girls and Cars. Irish rappers have alot more heart. Peace.
Album's very different from anything released in ireland so far so just taking a little bit longer to write and produce ...but it should be worth the wait
more of a case of him having tried to do LD50 Pt 3 and felt like he was repeating himself. Wasn't really feeling the couple of tunes from that myself. This sounds like he's breaking new ground again.
Nearly 10 years on since i played this on the daily. The whack of nostalgia off this tune, keep them coming paulie.
Classic 🔥 💯 🇮🇪 like a fine wine aging over time
Still blasting this from time to time!
I was in Ireland last term and I fell love in Irish rap, especially GI and Lethal Dialect.

Have to take your metaphorical hats off to the man, showing he's a versatile artist, I see nothing wrong with IHH coming out with some new vibes, love it!

Cheers @colmward
He's doing a video for one of the other tracks should be up soon.. Perspective I think.. but not that one.
Glenner is that you?
you bit the title from souls of mischief
Lydia Mc Guinness taught me in Bow street
great job lads. for the curious the original is "souls of mischief- from infinity till"... the last real hip hop before the mtv clowns...
The original what? Sure they paid homage with the title but there's no sample from 93-til affinity in the track.
+Adam Deans You're right it's not a direct sample, I can definitely hear the similarities though
On the ball....20 years after Souls Of Mischief flipped it
12 people dont no who lethal dialect is
