I agree man.. I've been listening to Irish rap for about 8 years now and it's full of depressing stuff, but to be fair the deep raps are some of the best - you just have to be in a certain mood for them haha
If people are oppressed, surely uplifting music would be more beneficial to help people out of their dire circumstances. Early hip hop was used to break down racial barriers.
i think willa lee let you down here jambo, a stronger and cleaner vocal on that chorus would have made this a very very good song. willa lee surprisingly gave a weak performance but very nice verses, solid bars as always.
You need your ears cleaned! That boy Willa has soul in his voice! Best part of both this and Jambos other track ft Willa....imo Jambos voice & accent are too heavy.....Willas voice is probably better suited to Lethal & Costellos delivery eg: Lethal Dialect - Get to my dreams , the chorus & hook are faultless
