Great doc. Never had much love for Dublin, being a 'culchie', but LD, GI, Costello, and many other rappers from Áth Cliath are straight up real - much respect to all of them. Regularly play their tunes. GI is an unbelievable producer too, he really needs to get some more recognition. I met LD at a festival years ago, real friendly, down to earth guy. Meas mór Paulie, glad to see you drop Part 3!
Do The Best That I Can - Lyrics:Costello Produced: G.I(it's there on the credits) The music is from US funk /soul singer Dorondo, a track called Didn't I (1973) Class!
Wrecks my head when Irish people turn there noses up at Irish hip hop...these Dublin boys are different class when it comes to production and lyricism....love from the Northside of Cork City!!
Big respect from the Newbridge hip hop heads lads.Ye boys are fine custodians of the world revered Dublin tradition of the word Smith.Yer urban poetry and story telling is the contimium of the ancient seanachie heritage of our country.
Amazing work! They're some of the best Irish rappers around. Try interview Rejjie Snow when he comes to Dublin in March 2018. He has some interesting stories too. A suggestion for another video is maybe try and find young upcoming rappers like Hare Squead, Jafaris, SG Guillotine etc. and get their perspective too. Check out local youth clubs and see what music projects are happening in Dublin. Keep up the good work!
excellent video, love these lads, followed for them a long time such a shame they can never get the proper recognition...........but then how wud they, they are real normal people
