Also, it’s a small thing that most people probably won’t care about but I don’t understand why some suitcase makers mold these ripples and waves and junk into the hardshell. Just make it flat and smooth! The ripples don’t look good
Thank you so much for your reviews! I just spent 1 month and too many hours looking for the perfect carry-on suitcase and I'm buying my Duravo today! Nobody was as dedicated and thorough as you were in your reviews.
Waiting with baited breath for that perfect carry-on suitcase to come along... ;) It can't possibly be that hard, your requirements are so nice & simple. Great channel, LOVE your thoroughness!
I'm so excited you got to try the Duravo bag. I'm loving mine after traveling 3 times with it. However I was still curious how it really compared to the July and other light carry ons. I completely agree with your takeaways. The other not perfect things for me is the battery pouch is best sized for a skinny rod style battery and the airtag pocket is a little snug for a Tile (but I got it in there!). Those are just extra features for me and I don't mind buying a smaller battery. Also the luggage tag was a little weird - there's a flap but your info goes on the outside? So I tried to attach my favorite tag and it wouldn't fit, along with others I tried. I eventually found a Travelon Swivel tag that works and adds a pop of color. I can't get over how nice the handles feel and how easy it is to lift in an overhead. So many features that I love about this bag that you mentioned in the video. Thank you so much for your review, I love how thorough you are and it strengthened my confidence that this was the right bag for me.
Thanks for your in depth reviews. They are very helpful. I can't tell from the updated spreadsheet, which is your favorite bag. Don't see a column with rankings.
Thanks for all your carry-on reviews! I love how detailed they are. Beside Duravo and July, I am also looking at Samsonite Cosmolite 3.0 carry-on spinner and Samsonite C-lite Carry-on spinner. They both lighter than the options you have reviewed. Is there a reason you left these 2 out?
Hi! Thanks for the informative video. You did a great job. I just ordered a Duravo last night. In your experience did you have any wheel maneuvering issues at all? Particularly in the narrow carpeted aisles of the airline cabin? Thanks!
Quick question: For the "Max volume" column in your master spreadsheet, are you basing that number off the exterior dimensions? If so, that would mean the max volume for the duravo would be 3863 cubic inches or 63.3 L, which doesn't sound right. I do understand that getting an exact measurement of the interior can be pretty difficult due to all the protrusions and such. All in all, great review. Really considering this over the other hard shell cases you reviewed. Is there a chance you will review the Briggs and Riley international 21? Also, would you be able to do a comparison on international carry on luggage? Thank you.
Wait! You have the July Light Checked! I cannot find any video reviews of it. I just finished a trip to Europe with my new July light carry on (non-expandable). I ended up checking it both ways because I am short and though strong, didn’t want to rely on the kindness of strangers for the overhead. I loved how easy it was to maneuver. It is my first spinner. I am debating dropping the extra $ for the July checked because I want the lightness. Would you consider doing a short review of the checked? Thanks!
I heard that once expanded the duravo doesn’t roll in a straight line and because of these reviews I just ordered mine so I’ll update if that’s true or not

It’s a solid suitcase! It looks small but is deceptively large. I agree with you about the handles. It's crazy how comfortable they are.
Can you review the Aer Carryon or Citypack Pro if youre into backpacks. Would love to see you review Mujis carry on as well
Wow Jing, you are so thorough!! I love this suitcase too.....

Your video has my eyes absolutely set on this suitcase! Going to wait for a good code though.
Would you recommend the Duravo over the July Essential?

I do! And that's a great idea!
Thank you for this! My hang up with the july is the size and that lack of handle. Any chance you could get the internal dimensions of the Duravo?
I heard that once expanded the duravo doesn’t roll in a straight line and because of these reviews I just ordered mine so I’ll update if that’s true or not

I asked but still waiting to hear back from Duravo 🤞
Another exceptionally helpful review! I agree, I don't like the look of the Duravo at all. It looks dated to me.
Forgot to add another seemingly interesting liggage.
AER carry on
