I do spearfishing in Philippines, This kind of snake is social they love to see human and want to display themselves swimming around. They are friendly in a sense they are not aggressive. Sea snake is opposite to land snakes with behavior. They also want to follow the flashlight whenever there is which creeps me sometimes.

Banded sea krait and yes they are venomous.. Even more venomous than cobras and vipers

As I know they are very very dangerous. You can die just from one bite. I saw many striped snakes in the Philippines, near the Apo island.
