Brother in Arms, I love you and thank you too for your service! This inaugural episode means so much to me you don't know. Yes, I have a Stagg Jr (17) hidden to the far left and 101 and 114 in the kitchen next to the glasses. I have other bottles in the other rooms equalling about 150 in total. I've since added another piece of walnut for a bottom shelf to the bar and yes I will add back lighting at some point soon. The ORVW will open when you visit the JD distillery - Joe

I have four shelf units. Four shelves each, four bottles deep. Can’t see it all in the pics, but in person, it looks great.
I love looking at other people’s collections and shelving.

Great idea for a series. While I don't have a nice bar or shelving wall of whiskey, I'll try and set something up.
Don’t have to have anything special. We are just gonna look at whatever people have!
Nice! I like the idea. It did stop and make me contemplate for a brief second sending you a pic of my bottles BUT their storage is not really conducive to reviewing from a picture. I have a couple columns of shelves that are 4 bottles deep and 5 rows per shelf. You'd only be able to make out the bottles in the front row. I do think it's cool to see what others have in their way of setup. Oh..and even after the first video we've identified you have a lot of stuff you need to go try :)
I’d still be interested in seeing even if we can’t see everything! I think seeing setups and even what you keep on the outside of the row tells a lot hahaha

Very cool series. My collection is scattered throughout my cave or I would submit it. Bottles in cabinets, under the bar, on top of the bar, TV stand cabinets and on my new deluxe Costco shelving unit for the floor bottles.150 plus bottles open and yes, a whole bunch of closed bottles. At least there are 5 BTAC's with 4 open and 1 backup Handy.
That is the problem of liking every type whisk(e)y made in the world.
I think it would be funny if you submitted photos from random spots of your room that I have to decipher lol

Very cool! My collection of my first year is also scattered in the house cabinets, my office in file cabinets, shelf’s, in my shop on shelf’s, floor, and on top of my gun safe! I have about 180 bottles now plus I’ve given away about 30 bottles I didn’t really care for and killed about 25 bottles. I think this hobby is getting out of control 🤪

I like it! Ryan Fluff Bruce does this with gutar rigs and it's gotten huge. He calls it "rate or roast my rig" he does it on a 1-5 beards scale. You could do a wrench scale. Might take off. Where do we submit ours? 😂
I love the old school decanter jug! I finally tracked one down with the intact spout for my bar.
They need to bring back the decanters!
I actually pulled that out of my mother's house. Pretty cool piece.
@@jetiv41 my favorite decanters in my collection are my 1975 Jim Beam boots and helmet decanter and my 1979 WWII Army canteen decanter. They did such a good job with making them accurately, the canteen one looks real at first glance.
