When I travelled to Tibet the first time in 1995, I bought a Thanka. I paid $500.00 for it then. I don't know if that was a lot or not, at the time, but, I saw it and knew I wanted it. I love my Thanka. It is a master piece, and I cherish it. The detail and color is magnificent. Now after watching this video....I love it and appreciate it even more.
Great, unbelievable artistic vlog. Jamyang brother.. thanku very much once again. It's a pleasure to watch your vlogs. Iam a Big fan of Tibet, Tibeten culture., Natural beauty, paintings, architecture, simplecity, hardworking nature with all comfort, enjoyment. God bless Tibet, Tibeten people. 🙏🙏🙏

Jamyang la you are so, so (very kind & funny) good in your presentation... And your topics are well presented about Tibet... You are one of my favourite among all of my favourites... Keep the wheel rolling, we are after you alwayz ;-)
Painting in Tibet dates back to about the 6th century, and the 'Men thang' base tradition is believe to be coming from the 8th Karmapa Mikha Dorje in the 16th century.
Delighted once again. You have chosen a wonderful theme. Blessed you are Jamyang you bring so much joy to your audience. Wonderful art , hope the ancient method stays and he teaches it to many juniors. I pray Buddha that he gets a wonderful price for the natural painting. Tashi Dalek, love and respect and best wishes from India 😃🙏🏼👏👏

May all that are bound to behold such, reach to such a state that they are moved to becoming their true nature... unravel the sufferings and see it for what it truly is... transforming that, to be in a state of pure Bliss... 🥰 Cheers, my friends! To reaching the Buddha state of, ultimate Bliss and sharing it freely with others... as their suffering, are freely accepted and transformed within the Buddha nature... of unconditional love and compassion...

Brilliant Vlogging....!!....Thangka painting is indeed unique & beautiful... china-occupied Tibet is a blessed land rich in everything... Thanks for the upload...!!.. 🧘 Aum 🇮🇳
Thank you very much for your kind support. Yes, it is. All pigments come from the natural minerals. But, nowadays, some painters just buy them from the market, so the paintings are much more valuable by using the natural pigments. 🥰

It can cost up to a million rmb these days
If it was from 1995 then it is more authentic than todays thanka and your thanka could worth 3 times more now.

Very first comment from an Indian 🇮🇳admirer ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful Tibet, China.
Once you visit Tibet, China , you will see the whole world like a vintage place ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
...
You don't need to write China. TIBET is enough.
It's Tibet not China.
@@Tashi1959 Tibet is an autonomous region of China
@@yichen-ti6vv What does autonomy mean more control by Beijing
@@Tashi1959 You’re not human. How dare you split China! Go back to school to learn more history about China.
We Mongols are quite related and fascinated by the creation of a Tangka. Tibet and Mongols are brothers and we share similar cultures.
I enjoyed a lot. Whenever I watch your programme, it takes me to a different beautiful world…
