Can non commercial Skydio users get some of these features? Even just waypoint missions would be cool. Many updates have rolled out to enterprise users; please add some more functionality to take advantage of this powerful drone for hobbyists. If you don’t want it to cut into that market, maybe some fun games or demos that we could play with? Better yet, release an SDK for Skydio 2 and let developers build out their own apps. The hardware is soo cool, I’d love to tinker with it!

As one who uses drones for inspections and surveying, I found myself nodding to myself at nearly every point that Alden was making about the difficulties encountered in inspection/surveying tasks. I am quite positive about these emerging features as Skydio seems like a company that is asking the right questions of industry to help meet needs and address pain points. Now, if we can just get this drone to see in the dark, we can begin using it underground to measure ore stopes instead of using cumbersome/antiquated CMS machines. Thanks for a great video.

I still don't understand right what it is: would it be a SKYDIO 2 drone software update or a new drone?

Skydio needs to massively inicrease AI drones for swarms in Search and Rescue etc and for China / Russia / Iran issues , .... like MILLIONS of them , quick . Thats an ORDER>

Holy sheeeit. That's amazing... I use to 3d model and render decades ago and this is wild. And looks EXPENSIVE. I'd love to PLAY WITH IT but I doubt the price will allow that.
I suppose eventually multiple drones will swarm the object or area to be scanned. Amazing work.

Somebody needs to Google the boiling point of water. It's not 200 degrees. 20:44

      WATER
      Boiling point
      212°F
      100°C
It seems like one of those basic science facts: Water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius), right? Well, not always. It depends on where you're doing the boiling. In fact, water will boil at about 202 degrees in Denver, due to the lower air pressure at such high elevations
