Pretty fancy idea! I like how you are pushing the drone envelope!

looks great idea for building or huge land guard. If you build a grid in a specific area, locate it and install a motion sensor to detect movement in that area, I think if skydio automatically flies to that specific area to monitor it, a few drones can reduce securities a lot.

Recreational Skydio 2 user for 2+ years & am impressed with the functionality. One area of improvement would be an adjustable sensitivity on return to follow position. Drone is very aggressive sometimes trying to get back to the subject (ie dodging an object) before stopping and loosing subject.

Very cool! Has security been considered? Looks like you could walk off with everything easily?

When will it be available to the public? How much will the subscriptions cost? This is considered bvlos unless you are there when the drone is actually flying which kind of deflates the purpose of the dock. Last but not least. When will there be a software out there to map indoors. There’s nothing and 3D scan doesn’t check shelf count in an efficient way. That is all. Thank you.

So how does it charge the drone after a flight? Didn't see this in the video, but I skimmed it.

Curious if you are currently looking at or already working in the federal disaster response area? I can see many applications (regulatory issues aside) in various large scale response programs.

Is the data captured, stored on the drone while simultaneously transmitted to the cloud and if so how is it stored in prep for the next mission?

I would love to see a security drone for the home. Something that responds to sensors being tripped and investigates. I know there is a company that does this, but they do not have your AI smarts. Would have to be a smaller drone though.

Sounds like a fun Home Assistant project! As long as the Skydio dock system has an API, this could be done with ease.

Please keep spending resources on this as opposed to spending resources to leverage government politics (like in Florida) to gain advantage over your competitors.

guys your company will fail because you will not be able to sell drones in the world. in italy dji has already failed because the restrictions on the rules of the air are too many they are complex and impact the rules of the air both of light aviation and general aviation. in italy in practice if you fly with a drone you risk getting yourself a fine of 50,000 euros, a rather hefty fine for a toy that is compared to the same level as an aviation aircraft. No one buys drones in Italy anymore.

Sounds like an italy regulation problem

The regulations will evolve with the technology, even if they lag behind as they are. This company will not fail in any way. DJI is being forced out of the market in the US slowly, state by state. China and their evil government have seen to the eventual end of our trade relationship with them as well as the use of their products. Skydio is taking huge market share in the US and as a commercial operator, I plan to eventually use ONLY Skydio drones. DJI/China suck!
