I'm in search for a new affordable drone. I came across as advertisement. And I'm excited to see what this room has to offer as I need a drone.

Skydio ghosted it's entire consumer market.....why would I make the HEAVY investment in its "new" direction knowing that MY participation might be next on the the chopping block.....
Consulting with quite a few companies in my area I always recommended Skydio 2 for inspection. I will NEVER purchase OR recommend another Skydio product because of the direct threat of no continued support, if they feel that "don't want to" and are "going another direction." Too much money to take a crap shoot on future support.
@@venomgl plus they've been lobbying to ban foreign made drones, primarily so they could abandon the consumer market, and try to leave consumers with no other options but their 10x overpriced x10.

Let’s not forget that drones still need to be affordable, even if the military is your target user. One reason the Mavic is popular is because it’s affordable, and that is in the military environment. Even a Mini 4 would be better than your drone. Because the units can buy 10 to your 1. 😂

i would love to switch to american made consumer drones but it seems you have abandoned that market and dji is still way better
Up against the clarity and range of DJI's Ocusync 3.0, forget it, in an emergency live relay scenario. Dropping their foundation consumer market also rings alarm bells as to their corporate wisdom when considering investing in a $10k plus drone.

Above all this impressive presentation, I found really interresting to notice that Skydio as fully took into account regulatory aviation rules and support his partners and customers to be in line with regulation. Key strategic topic to get the futur conops for BVLOS

While their new focus and enterprise customers is important, it is disappointing that they/Adam makes no mention of their retail consumers who supported them in the beginning. It's really shameful.
