Henry's incredible as well - one of the greatest talent pools...
in the history of the UFC.
Hashtag Warriors - love all of them.
but it starts with The Diaz Brothers.
for me, for millions of others.
      We need a Fighter's Union -
      where players aren't merely dictated-to.
"Played-with when they aren't good boys and girls, etc."
      .

Max is just a freak especially as the fight goes on. Max can get out worked tho but not out paced In the long run. He beat Aldo twice but was losing the most the rounds. Until after the third or the end Aldo was slowing down. So it's possible to out strike him. If Dustin can adapt and throw kicks like Justin does or Aldo it will help out without that it may be more one sided. I don't see Max getting taken down but if he does it will get interesting

2:48 I can tell you he was still doing those things for the Mcgregor fight. I remember seeing it in the Embedded leading up to it. I think he did it after Mcgregor as well. So Dustin says it’s been “years and years ago” isn’t really that true. He makes it sound like it’s been 7-10 years but it’s probably been 2-3 since he stopped a lot of it. Pretty sure he only stopped the specific type of gum superstition because they stopped making that flavor. So now he has a couple different flavors but it still has to be those same flavors in camp till this day.

It probably feels so much longer ago for him. Regardless I think the point he was trying to make was just that he still has a routine for fight day but if it's not exact, it won't mess up his performance

@@ChewbaccaOnDrugs1130 True. Sometimes time can become slightly distorted and you feel it's been longer than it actually has. But yeah, I understand his point. And it's definitely a far stronger mindset to have. The whole idea of superstition creates room for doubt to seap in. Like if you don't have your lucky jock you won't fight well. I think Dustin was superstitious and ran into instances where he wasn't able to go through his usual routine, yet still preformed well. He started realizing that he didn't need those things and it's all in your head.

I wish Dustin could have been the champion without Khabib or Max Holloway being in the picture. He deserves the shine.
