I’ve never cared so much for someone I don’t even know. It truly broke me heart when he lost to oliveira. I wasn’t suprised when he lost to khabib so it wasn’t as bad, but damn I just wish he could get that gold for him and his family. What sucks is he probably could’ve had the belt by now if he didn’t do the Conor fights but he also wouldnt be a superstar and got all the Conor money
Dustin the diamond is a superstar even if he didn't become champion. Now that I know him more I think the world needs more people like him, so thank you. And this documentary deserves more than 477 likes, man.
Best all around man I've ever seen in the fight game, so humble and poors his heart out to others, u couldn't find a better guy!!! And hes a hall of famer and probably my favorite by being my neighbor n Louisiana!!!!!
What an awesome guy. Man, because of the internet you always just get the action without the detailed back story. Often times your appreciation for an individual is directly related to your knowledge about the person.
@@centurion819 when I met him at Brooklyn Brewery, the day after 281, he said that he’s going for that belt regardless of what people think. After a few more min of talking to him he bought me and my boys beers after his manager said that we couldn’t talk anymore. Absolutely one of the greatest fucking humans you’ll ever meet
My hat is always off to DP the 💎, he's been fighting at the elite level for years!!! Ok y'all sometimes a lower ranked fighter might beat an elite level fighter but when a lower ranked fighter beats elite fighters multiple times that's when you know they are great ok and my favorite fighter Dustin the diamond has been at the elite level for years and I'm going to root (cheer) him on in every single fight he's in!!!! Dustin Keep doing your thing bro you you got this win coming up in Miami against BSD!!! Y'all BSD is good and probably will have a good career but DP is the guy and LET'S GEAUX DUSTIN!!!!
They call him the diamond, but the guy is made of gold, the strap means nothing compared to what he has achieved, he is a true inspiration and role model 👑 what a man...
They call him the diamond cuz diamonds are made from pressure lmfao why in TF would he "be made of gold" in this analogy.. come on now 🤦🏾♂️😂😭😭 everything else you said was fine tho. I completely agree. Dustin is hands down in my room active
💎💎💎💎💎💎 geaux get'em Dustin!!!! DUSTIN is freaking great inside the cage and outside of the cage and I've been watching the UFC since the beginning (seriously a friend and myself would walk to the movie rental store to get the new UFC tape that would be out) so I like all the old timers and I like DP, DP is my favorite fighter and I have been rooting him on from the early days and I will continue cheering him on!!! Let's go DP
Thank you Jallen! Dustin has been my favorite mma fighter since the early days and i thought i knew a lot but there was a few things i didnt know - thanks for this! Good Work brother ❤💪
This guy is without a doubt one of the best to ever do it! Even if he never becomes Champion he a future UFC hall of famer. Just look at his resume, victories over Max Holloway, Eddie Alvarez, Conner McGregor, Dan Hooker, Justin Gaethje, Michael Chandler. Guy is incredible!
Look.... Even if Dustin never gets the "real belt". He used to fight at 145. For the interim title He fought the sitting champion at 145, who was on a 13 fight win streak, who is regarded as the best boxer in the UFC, and out boxed them to win that interim belt. That's one hell of a feat and Dustin should be DAM PROUD of that fuckin belt!
What a great docummentary about a great warrior That's why colby and his fanboys comments disgust me, imagine speaking about someone's wife and family just cause a piece of shit person told you so, the world today sucks big time
Any fighters that can have 15yr careers in the UFC are amazing. They aren't one hit wonders that rise to the top in 3 yrs, then basically disappear. The Nate Diaz, Dustin Porrier l, Donald Cerroni type guys are the ones who over yrs have kept the pay per view numbers up. You can put those guys on any card and most of the time they will put on the best fights repeatedly. We have seen the Conner McGregor's who make a splash then lose 4-5 fights in a row. Give me the 10-15 yr guys any day of the week. Max Galloway is another. True greats
i wouldn't say it's over for him completely look at glover he captured ufc gold at 40 years of age and i would think that poirier could fight for the belt one more time he has only fought for it twice he just can't give up now
I absolutely love Dustin Poirer and I think he's one of the most underatted fighters ever he's never won the belt but his resume alone is incredible
I’ve never cared so much for someone I don’t even know. It truly broke me heart when he lost to oliveira. Trust me it’s a whole lot worse when you train with him.
Yea I don't feel bad for him him an his family's millionaires , , I think they'll be fine without the titl

He’s really well spoken for someone who dropped out of HS.
Hahaha there is a lot of em who havent finished anything
School doesn’t make you well spoken😂your surroundings do
@@kadetucker2255 he’s really well spoken for someone from Louisiana… never been there have you😂
That has NOTHING to do with finishing high school foo
I believe dustin can fight for the belt one last time.
fr these mfs act like hes 36 or something, he just needs to improve his grappling and cardio
@@urmomgae5882 hes 33 but I do agree if he improves his cardio and grappling yeah I can see him winning the belt.
He beat chandler so i believe it's definitely still possible

He did buddy and he got knocked out by my boy Justin 💤💤💤🤣🤣
I want to see him get his hands on the belt at least once, so badly. I'm not a huge Poirier fan, but I do like him. I'd love to see it.
Dustin is a real inspiration and role model.
The story of him and his wife brought a tear to my eye
The final/ending commentary was perfect. Nice work!
Thank you!

Dude walking around at 190lbs normally lol just think about that for a minute. He fights at 155lbs that's crazy weight drop 😳
Dustin is winning the fight of life by being an awesome and humble person. It's a much more important fight.
The uncrowded CHAMPION...
The KING without a throne...
That guillotine that dustin nearly locked on khabib is arguably the closest anyones got to finishing khabib. Imagine if he had that other leg over
Keep the work up I could easily see you makin money from this channel in the future this is 1 mill + subscribers content right here
really liked this dude! Great work 👏 👍 👌 💪

He impressed me with how much damage he delt to Khabib.

He’s fighting for a belt not the belt! But still the BMF title is worth holding onto and maybe even defending it later on 🤷🏾♂️👌🏾
U GOT YOURSELF A CHINESE FAN
#1 p4p feelings champion....
just kidding I love dustin, but Colby does crack me up sometimes.
998 like here my dude
Top Man
I grew up in a Thai Boxing world so to me there is only one 💎 and that was Ramon Dekkers but I love Dustin he’s a dog if you’ve ever seen one ☝️
Thought he was born in 1989. Day and Month are correct.
Who.has fallen to the diamond, everybody
Dustin can wipe anyone out when he is ready
i wouldn't say it's over for him completely look at glover he captured ufc gold at 40 years of age and i would think that poirier could fight for the belt one more time he has only fought for it twice he just can't give up now

hes got one more go in em!
12:22 Anthony pettis next to dustin
It’s a grapplers sport. Dustin can make another run, but I don’t see anyone beating Islam right now. Team DP no matter what
Jolee? Is that the chick in Conor’s DMs?
1989 he was born not 1999
7:07
next june dustin will fight for the belt against islam makhachev
Please put some passion into your narration. Monotone numbs my brain
p̲r̲o̲m̲o̲s̲m̲ 😳
IS THERE A REHAB FOR DUSTIN ADDICTS ….?? Cuz I’m addicted-to this him and my obsession with Dustin consumes me💙💙💙
Sounds like you are flaming and yet to try the Hot Sauce!!
Yeah he made money but he's always going to be that guy that never won a championship😂
It's always funny when a guy who's never fought in the UFC posts these kind of comments.
first ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Khabib was banned... not band
The creator of this video acted as if it was a eulogy..... smh is in poor taste.
