Dangote is saying the truth to government NO COUNTRY without ELECTRICITY can move forward.
Nigerian need leaders with vision.... dangote is a visionary man, GOD BLESS YOU
Amen Jesu!
I wish we had a leader like dangote in the past.
A truthful man like Dangote, pls continue this great work , may you live till 150yrs God strengthens you and all the people that have good cause for Nigeria.
@Fe Ch You're talking patent nonsense. Its the politicians and corruption thats kept Nigeria in darkness. - Dangote has created jobs, brought inward investment, and built an industrial base for Nigeria. Now he is developing the largest refinery in Africa, to make Nigeria more than self sufficient.
@Fe Ch Capital for one. Dangote wasn't in a position to raise > $10 billion over a decade ago.
Don't you just love this man.
Love him for what?... he is preparing to monopolize power in nigeria just like in cement
GOD BLESS THIS MAN DANGOTE ALWAYS SAYI NG THE TRUTH
He say the truth with out power nothing can work in Nigerian
Brilliant analyses and suggestion by the 'man' himself. Kudos 👍
This is the longest speech I have listen to from Dangote. This man is truly a billionaire with conscience.
Behind every great fortune there is a crime
-- Honore de Balzac
ok. good. this is the 1st and longest rest. but he has been making money since Obasanjo days. thats ur leaders for u. anyway ... he needs to speak more
@@nobs997 you my friend are a wise man
There is no power because they are thieves. One you talk Power you are stepping on the toes of thieves
You must ask yourself the question who actually places these thives in place? Voters of Nigeria themselves.
@Fe Ch No it aint the west anymore.
It's ignorant voters who have 75 candidates and choose two of the most popular ones as if it's a popularity contest
Aliko for President
Egypt added 10,000 megawatts in 18 months and Nigeria in 18 years spending times 3 of what Egypt has spent is yet to add 1,000 watts. SHAME SHAME SHAME
True talk
Shame is an under statement.
Nigeria is a big brother hu has potential but low self esteem, cowardice, too proud for nothing, step up & claim ur position in African affairs
Shame indeed.
@Fe Ch Apparently the mosque isn't keeping Dangote from succeeding. He doesn't sound ignorant at all to me.
Dangote - Very educated man
Doesnt take education to know that. An 8yr old knows the nigerian gov are thieves.
not news Sowore said it many times
PeoplesEyes you’re right, Sowore said the same thing
@Afri Media make use of your Google
@@adex5992 this is why Sowore/Moghalu can't win, cause ppl don't know them but they know Athiefku.
I know . Sowere has said millions of time don't mind this otondo channels TV.
Sowore is useless politician, Business men Dangote is talking here.
Impeccable delivery and insight
No wonder money is chasing him
Rare Visionary!!!
Thank you Mr Dangote, it makes a lots of sense if they could listen and take necessary steps
Good job Dangote ❤️👍
That's why he is the richest man on the continent. He is a mentor
Rich dangote he said true.
God bless dangote and Africans
Interesting insight when he said one have to generate ones own power in order to successfully operate a business in Nigeria or Africa
I laughed when Buhari promised to lift 100m people out of poverty but not out of darkness. Give us electricity and watch how the % of unemployed goes down. Our political leaders are so short sighted and mentally stunted. I have lost hope in anything called Nigeria cos previous year will always be better.
Buhari meant lifting 100m people into poverty
Clapping hands to what Dangote is saying will not make things in Nigeria move. Those who should listen to what he is saying should be the President and the rest of the government in particular the minister of infrastructure, finance and planning.
Aliko, I love your accent. 😆
i love this man a
If they start thinking like this and work towards it there we be a great change in few years to come, nice one from Aliko Dangote the richest man in Africa, with you sir Nigerians have no reason to remain in poverty, speed up.
Honestly
Light is GOD 🙏 Almighty GOD 💘💝💖
dangote to be president
It is very simple problem, all government knows this, even the children in secondary school, knows this, NO POWER, NO GROWTH..APC knows this,PDP knows this too...imagine the boost that Nigeria economy will have when the country have a stable electricity in the whole country..employments will increase.Power is life.
dangote for president 2022
But unfortunately, he won't agree!!
@Fe Ch aliko dangote allha ya kara arziki da lafiya da imani da te Makon ta lakawa da Kera ma Ssallachi amine

ewu. haha. . thats all u guys know... you wunt leave him in the industry he is doing well.
No Growth possible with THIEVES. Same old same old.
No power supply no growth my Role Model Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Here in Canada our governments gives us 24/7 power supply .
*Dangote for President 2023*
Then you will in more problems..
@@TheDrugking how?
@@optimusprime5794 This guy was responsible for the high price of flour, salt and sugar. Because of him, other people weren't given licence to import some particular items.. He bribed the Nigerian customs with money and new vehicles, to prevent pple from bringing some of the products through Nigerian border.. Dangote did more harms to Nigeria than he ever contributed.. president Good luck beg this man tire to reduce cement price.. he refused..
This was how Trump was lamenting many years until 2015. I wish Dangote runs for presidency!!
Don't skin me for being an Igbo, calling for an Hausa man to be president again. I want development for my country and whoever brings it isn't my concern!!
Why does he need to be president? He is more effective as an entrepreneur. Politics isn't the solution to all our problems.
@@listenup2882 But he has a massive limit to the which he can do as an entrepreneur. If he becomes the president, he becomes the CEO of the entire nation and if he puts the effort, exposure and intellectualism he has deployed to become the richest African in such an unfriendly environment as we have, and if he doesn't get corrupted or selfish, but determined, don't you know that Nigeria will change over night to good and something utopian?
@@sethsamuel6357 a country is not a business. Government can't cut jobs like a private company can. Government has to have a conscience business does not. The role of government is to facilitate the development of the people and economy and to maintain stability and peace. With Dangote in government Nigeria would be deprived of its for most entrepreneur.
I like that blue o!
We Nigerians are so use to power failure that we think is normal and okay with it..lol
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿❤❤🇳🇬❤🇳🇬 dangote
"your own other people on the other side of physical" what does it mean?
.....the generations that got everything for free.
He’s talking sense despite the fact that he has taken his own share long ago, right now he is indirectly telling government to give him power supplies management. Am not against it as long as the rate is regulated and also steady supply is assured.
There is nothing stopping an investor from investing in the power sector in Nigeria.
Dangote, should please do us a FAVOR. Yes we're begging, and become president for 8 years. Don't join a party oh! Not because he needs the power or money, but because we're asking for help.
Is Dangote advocating for power business?
I actually don't think so, because he can already get into the power sector as a private company.
Even the law now allows individual states to generate their own power.
One thing he said that surprised me is the amount of tax govt takes on business revenue. 52%? That can't be true.
The govt taxes telecom companies even more.
Instead of taxing so much, the govt needs to have standards in place, where companies are ordered to improve service. For example, order FTTH in individual homes. The faster our Internet, the more profit business makes, and the more tax revenue govt takes receives in the long run.
Dangote is very correct about smuggling. Our borders are porous. The problem has been there for generations. Nobody has tried to fix it.
Last time I checked, states can't really generate their own power. Why? Because there are regulations that limit the size of power generation and transmission & frustrate the economics to do so. E.g. Mini grid generation cap in Nigeria is 1MW. Around the world, it is 10MW. Why? I don't know
And once you generate more than1MW, you must connect to the national grid.
Since 1999 all effort by OBJ, GEJ and MB to provide power has led us to no where. One way out is to bring in good generator producers to assembly them locally with possible local content development. The government and private sectors should subsidised the gens for their staff. It will reduce pressure on government to deliver. It will create jobs for Nigerians in terms of capacity building, production and repairs.
Please can anyone tell me what so funny and the reason the man behind mr. Dagote is smiling?
Lumumba once said "our problem in Africa is that, those with the ideas are not in power but those with empty heads are in power"
Uber is already in the process of launching a flying electric taxi service while Nigeria is yet to install Electric point for Electric cars. Everywhere in Europe now are Electric cars, no more queues at the Petrol Station. Electric Points everywhere for these cars, you don't need to queue for electricity.
Go and get a licence and invest in building such electric car charging point. It an opportunity discovered by you.
@@emmanueladama5018 Insha Allah. Thank you.
good questions asked by dangote
This what i had been saying i thought Tinubu would declare state of emergency in power but i was disappointed he left to award the construction of coastal road which not more than power.
Coastal road is very good but it is not what we meed at the moment.
Uncle at his back na wa
It is really a shame that 60 years after independence, Nigeria has no electricity, water, roads, rail lines or credible educational system. All of these were foisted on our country by
The generations
Why do state governments not invest in alternative energy like STATE OWNED solar farms, Wind mills and all that and get people to pay for usage their states will develop faster and even attract businesses from neighbouring states too.
Awkward Silence without restructuring unfortunately they don't have the jurisdiction to do that
If only this man can become the president of our country. He is a man with vision indeed
Running a business is quite different from running a country for one thing, you don't have to deal with opposition. President Trump is a living testimony
@@nobs997 So they people leading us are the best. Is that what you're trying to emphasize?
@@nobs997 So you preferred these political animals called leaders. And you think they're the better people. What a joke!
@@michaelonyeka4075 What makes you think that a billionaire can be a better leader?
@@nobs997 Are you kidding me? Bro please just please there is no way you can compare this brilliant guy with massive quality experience to your so called political leaders. No way at all. Mate just close eyes, start imagining and comparing Buhari and Dangote in all aspect. Please don't pissed me off right now. If you're comfortable with the so called Nigerian leaders for the past 40years, that means you hate Nigeria and you don't even care about the future of the country.
Na nw him no abi
Is not as if we don't know what to do but we are greedy, each and every one of us, give a Nigerian money to do something the person will eat it, it's note nice
Very sound a guy.
Dangote fulani you're doom fools
If you are 18years OLD and you don't know this already then you need to LOOSE your WAEC RESULT.
Is the waec result even useful
I see this man coming out for presidency ...but when?
Aliko says the truth but cannot believe his African richest, he just British frontier.
First
Lol.. dangote cannot deceives people like me... it is true government must partner with the private sector for growth but government system itself should not be centralized as nigeria is
I have always admired Dangote, he is a great guy but I think why he is speaking up now is because lack of power is affecting his numerous businesses and criminal tribal leaders would continue to hold Nigeria in the shackles of their greed! Buhari is partnering with the Republic of Benin so don’t worry about smuggling.
IF GOVERNMENT CONTRIBUTION TO GDP IS BETWEEN 17% TO 20% AND THE REST OF ABOUT 80%, OF THE GDP FROM PRIVATE SECTOR, WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT MONOPOLIZING THE INDUSTRALIZATION OF NIGERIA.POWER SHOULD BE TOTALLY PRIVATIZED AND LET PRIVATE SECTOR HANDLE THE POWERING OF NIGERIA.
No economic growth without power but Dangote made all his money without power too.
He generate his own power. For his business. Can you avoid to buy 10 litres per day.
If not for corruption, Nigeria can build 50 thousand MW in 5yrs . But corruption will not allow them. Buhari is a terrible person
Nigerians should be ashame still having electric city problem at this 20 century, corruption will not let them do what is right, common Ghana have a steady light, good economy now Nigerians are running over there
Ghana is not common but nigeria is common. That is why ghana has steady electricity than nigeria.
@roland smith The USA is not bigger than the whole of Africa, you can fit the entire USA three times inside of Africa and have room to spare.
If Buhari Government does not fix the uninterrupted power supply! He's a failure
Genesis 1:3 Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. pls let stop complaining if we can fight it then we endure it.

All these talk(advice), Nigerian govt no de hear. Next appointment will all politicians, whose only aim is to enrich themselves and keep to political party agenda.
All this tycoons could easily lobby with politicians to steer the country in the right direction.
WE don't want to be in one NIGERIA with you PEOPLE AGAIN EVERYONE should be in their God's Given LAND you guys can collect the name nigeria we don't care it's not today that you know that there is no POWER and infrastructure in nigeria why come out now? Shut up..
All you income. Generated from 1960. Is Nigeria.
why is the man in the background causing all this distraction like he wants the attention
Dangote has not said anything new, why would this make any headline?... how did it take him so long to say something? Anyways him and his likes have been part of the Nigeria problem... does who know, knows... Guess he is taking words from Sowore's presidential campaign words... so sad.
Are you not part of the failure of Nigeria? Judge yourself.
thife keeper.if only u can bring out all the money u help them hide.till then we have nothing to discuss my old fools
He is speaking out because of his interest, if it was another Nigeria building a power plant buhari's government will stop the project, we Yoruba's are tired the funny system of democracy that favours the rich nonsense 😡
Point of correction whatever happened in Lagos was for the benefit of Lagos not buhari, don't be negative do your research
Yoruba and Igbo people are the problem in Nigeria. I know what i'm saying
You can't be so sure.. This type of statements need facts to support them..
We are all responsible for whatever befall us bro.
U just repeating what every body has said
Who’s the fool standing behind him but he should be ashamed of himself

Dangote forgot that it takes more effort to run a business than running the government as a politician. # We need more entrepreneurs in Government as politicians.
😂😂😂😂
You mean people like Trump? We don't need more entrepreneurs in government, we need honest people in government. We just need more entrepreneurs. We also need high quality education on a massive scale!
@@listenup2882 men trumps problem has less to do with being an entrepreneur I agree with you we need more honest people but to what advantage is having an honest dumb ass unfit to lead.......its all about the balance
