    I remember seeing Zathura in theaters when it was released. It did not traumatize me.
    The Critic also made a review of "Signs". THAT movie almost traumatized me when I was a kid.

    Wait, they say it doesn't make sense for the older version to be there cause there was no mention of "time travel or worm holes", but we literally see the clip of the older Walter saying he came through a worm hole when explaining why he was so hungry. not saying it fixes much of the movie, but like they did have the explanation for it

    Alright, so I have an idea: What about a cameo from Doug Walker for the 100th NC review reaction (which is Battlefield Earth)?
    The viewers (including me) will compile every famous movie or cartoon you've never seen/heard of, and Doug will react to that list.
    One more request: After Battlefield Earth (the 100th reaction), the 101st reaction should be Nostalgia Critic's first two videos EVER. (Transformers and Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue)

    Zathura does take place within the same universe as Jumanji. I loved this movie as a kid, another fact, yes the sister did go on to be in twilight, but the older brother is also Peeta from Hunger Games

    I love- mmm... liked this movie. Not bad at all, but I can point too many Jumanji's plot points: disfunctional family's siblings play a cursed board game, a player from the past returns, returning obstacles, a punished cheater that tried to end the game earlier... but it was nice. And let's be real, a lot of sequels were like this, at the time. The effects were honestly good, tho, dare to say even a bit better than Jumanji's.

    This is why Kyle has seen barely any movies, he watched this one movie and was traumatized so bad it put him in a coma for about 15 years.
    Either that or he just didn't watch a lot of movies, but that's not as entertaining of an answer.

    It just occured to me that the adult brother would have recognized the young brother as his own. It's so confusing to me that they forced a reaction from everyone when really only the kids should have reacted.
    Also the fact the sister had the hots for the older brother is really creepy

  • @Dusxio
    @Dusxio Год назад +1

    The movie was very cool as a kid. And a cool concept as an adult. But yeah, how did the Astronaut turn out to be the brother? I mean it's a plot twist but as an adult and scifi fan... I can't help but wonder about the timeloop that caused this? I get that the wish was the turning point but, who was the 'Astronaut' in the first timeline? It's not the case of Jumanji where the game was just still on going our 'trapped character' could live until the next turn...
