- Lakers need to clear up some salary cap space and a few roster spots. Lakers News came out that Lakers are working hard to try and pull off a Lakers Trade in order to clear salary. Lakers Nation needs a solid move and upgrade but if they can land a few pieces via few agency that's a start.

Detroit wants Trent. But he wants to be a starter. Cade is the starting PG. Detroit and Utah have over 19 million in cap space. Seems Detroit is willing to wait and see if he reconsiders. But they know his options are limited. So, the Lakers hoping Pistons will be a salary dump option isn't a real option. Unless the lakers offer a 1st rd picks. Pistons already have 9 2nd round picks
What will it take to get a team to take on Reddish and Wood? Two second rounders and cash? Teams know the Lakers are desperate, so they’re going to ask for a lot.
I personally don’t believe the team will be able to make any moves this year. No free agents want to play with LeBron and the circus the team has become. Plus, no team wants to help LeBron or Palenka.

@@christianguliman8385 You just assume that another team is going to do business wi the the Lakers. There’s no evidence to suggest that any team in 2024 will consider any trade to the Lakers. The Lakers and LeBron have burned a lot of bridges and that is coming back to haunt them.

Lakers don't need PG . They need a big man that can give them strong rebound defense inside plus they need PF that strong inside and can shoot 3 . They need to keep the core Christie / reaves/ hachimura/ Vanderbilt . This is the future of the Lakers . I don't understand why they keep drafting PG which they need big men . They just wasted their time of trades . They need to be patient and develop the young quality players and evolve them to become elite players . Mohammad diara , Amol traore , kneltch , kuase from G league can be a good future for the Lakers . Hinson and bronny as long as they develop their skill set as a basketball player there is potential . Hinson is a shooter but less defense and inside play must develop . This group of young players is the future . I hope JJ reddick will come good for the Laker. Get a free agent big man that doesn't need to trade and accept a minimum salary . Wood can be useful if you play him for more minutes. Gabe Vincent can be starting PG alongside reaves . Wood and Davis can be good to play together.
