Me neither. Us moms don't take care of ourselves like we really should, and we're honestly too dang hard on ourselves at times. We should really start taking better care of ourselves, though. There are nights when I just want to flop into bed without even picking up a hairbrush or toothbrush, and I'm literally guilty of doing that. It's just all about a good routine and schedule, which we can all improve on if we set our minds to it.

To the people concerned about retinol, if I'm not mistaken, newer studies have shown that it should be generally OK when applied topically as the absorption is much lower than previously thought it was. I'm sure after 6 children she's spoken to her Dr about this anyway! :)
Yes, it's fine when pregnant, actually, unless it's trwtinoin/retin-A. However, when you put stuff on your skin and then touch the baby, things DO transfer, and kids (and especially babies) have such thin skin that it DOES absorb into their body. Was recently a study on this with kids age 4-8 years, which showed that chemicals in moisturizer delayed puberty in boys

I love the feeling of night showers but despise going to bed with wet hair. My curly hair is something I need to deal with during the day lol. I will take an “important part shower” at night sometimes but I mostly do it during the day just because of my hair. I do have a badass bonnet on the way that I’m super excited about. Hoping it’s a game changer for me ❤
@stephaniegunnison5908 I hate wet hair as well!! Another good point! My hair dryer would wake my toddler in my apartment. If I had a whole separate wing of the house that would work. Thank you for reminding me! I sometimes use a dry towel and wrap my head with my wet hair but that can't be good for our hair.
I need links to some of these items please and thank you. Ill be having my second baby in January. Im hoping I'll have some time to myself for a little bit. Hahaha
What retinol do u use while breastfeeding?
Getting in the shower is the only way I can get myself to complete the routine. Even if it’s for 5-10 min lol
Do you dry your hair before bed? I find that I get headaches if I sleep with mine wet :/
No but my hair is stick straight and drys within 30 minutes on its own 😂
@@chrissyhorton nice! 😄
If you put a drop of lemon or orange essential oil on those little rubber band they fall apart so you don’t have to cut any hair.
This is great, but if this is not you, don't beat yourself up. This works for her, but it might not work for you, and that is okay. You're doing your best for you and your child(ren), and that is what is important.
