AI as a bunch of unruly kids. Delightful. You were able to get them quieted down and do some real Buddhist teaching and it was really innovative that you had to push against very different audience members that were likely to interrupt in ways a respectful Buddhist adults would never interrupt a monk. Ralph the edgy skeptic is the star of course because he is the most transgressive but also probably what goes on in a lot of people’s heads that they would never say. Ralph convinces me that AI is good enough to role play characters that demonstrate how real humans typically get stuck in their development.
Hi Lorenz, Thank you for your thoughtful comment... I’m glad you enjoyed the playful dynamic with the AI characters. It’s definitely an interesting challenge to navigate the interruptions, but I believe it adds a layer of realism to the discussion. Ralph, with his edgy skepticism, does bring a unique perspective that resonates with many people's internal dialogues. Holly Golightly started out ok... then seemed to forget her identity, ironically. I appreciate your insights on how these characters can reflect the complexities of human development. It’s all part of the journey to make Buddhist teachings more relatable and accessible. Looking forward to more of your thoughts, as ever Best, BB
