I wasted a ton on contradicting weapons and skills which went to waste I wish there was a guide to what each orc type really meant and who has an advantage versus other orcs. Getting killed in the pits
He did mention that is you restart your game and recruit a follower from the garrison the follower's level drops to yours. It would seem the garrison is separate from your save, but I haven't tried such a thing yet.
Just keep in mind that the garrison has a limit of 400 followers.

does the garrison stay even if I delete my save? Like I restart my game back to level 1, does my garrison stay?

He most likely got another from an online conquest so it went straight to his garrison
You can send your characters to the garrison with one of does upgrade things. If not that then he got a bruv from a online gamemode
How did he get to that desert type area ?
