Just picked this game up for $8 this month. What a great game, don’t know how I missed it! This is the best overall overview/tutorial video I’ve seen yet. 💪🏻😎👍. Subbed!!
This guide is really well done. A lot of insight into leveling. I wish I watched this before I started playing. Even so, I picked up a lot new knowledge! Great job.
Fuckin seriously, this was the only guide that was helpful without having to wade through bullshit to get to the good info a beginner might be looking for. Good stuff man! Best guide, by a long shot!
Really appreciate the guide. I pre-ordered and played through back in 2017. I barely remember any of the 102 hours I logged, but I do remember getting to the end and realizing that I didn't really have anything good. The prospect of endlessly grinding gear and captains was pretty daunting. I don't know if I'll keep playing for long after shadow wars, but now I have some basic tips to aid me through the story again, so thank you.
I accidentally started over so this is actually really helpful because I had completed the Shadow Wars and was level 67 and this is one of the most useful guides I've found so far
Good guide. Downloading the game now, got stuck around 60-ish last I played but keen to give it another go with this new insight. Had wasted the elven doors as I leveled so I'll be sure to hold off on a lot of things this time. Thanks!
I originally started playing this game for the 10k challenge on XB1, but found it to be incredibly addictive, while some things just seemed too overwhelming and thought of quitting. Then I found this guide. Thank you for the effort put into this as it helped me want to keep playing it.
Thanks for this nice guide. Back when the game launched I merely played for the story on normal without a care in the world. I didn't do any of the end game grind (I do remember it being worse than now, not sure) so I'm replaying this game and was wondering how to approach things on Nemesis as I seem to be underlevelled for dominating captains. I'll just to story quests for now.
I know I'm late but as someone who is playing the game for 3 years, it is not necessary to save legendary gears for late game.you can get them in the mid game and upgrade them to max lvl once you reached there and at that point they will not cost you that much money and the challenges are easier for you.
I wouldn’t exactly agree with the “always unlock a new skill rather than an upgrade”, because some new skills really don’t add much to your gameplay as they are rarely used, whereas some upgrades really boost your combat performance
Just got the game during Steam's Lunar sale. 10/10 so far, except for the controls, by god do I hate the default mapping. Had to change it up but other than that, it is a god tier game for sure.
@@parkattack , I just got this game and already put in 16 hours. I already opened the first poem door and maybe the 2nd (not sure). Am I screwed or should I start over? I also opened a chest. It was the only one I had. If I start over, will I get another free chest? And one more thing, I didn't sign up for the free XP boost until now because when I first started, it said I was not connected to the server. If I start over, do I lose that XP boost?
@@runnergo1398 Not sure about the xp boosts, because I never used any, but as far as your gear goes, it can always be upgraded to max level so you're okay. The process will just take longer if you get the great at lower levels
@@parkattack , OK thanks! I went ahead and saved my save game to a USB stick then started a new game. The 3% XP boost is still there, but after reading your comment, I think I will just reload my original save and keep going. I just got to the point where sieges are starting and captured my first captain, plus I have almost all the skills unlocked so starting over was a real bummer. Thanks again!
Wow, very thorough, great job. Im just starting my first play through (yeah, I know) after finishing Mordor. This is like Mordor on steroids so thanks for the clearcut explanations. Gained a sub
Great video but I believe killing a outpost leader only temporarily disables the outpost. If you die or advance time there's a chance that another will take his place.
I got a Dagger which recharges wrath when stealth killing, later on i got a ring which does the same with draining an enemy. I usually try to get my wrath full before starting any main mission. Or to kill Captains...
Thanks for the guide I appreciate it a lot I kind of fucked up and did bright lord before 60 so I made it too hard for myself Gonna restart but I don’t mind I love this game
I really wish I had watched this before playing, I unlocked each bright lord piece as I went along, some pieces are like level 14 for me, and my Ringwraith set is level 52 :'(
Me too. Wish I had waited till level 60+ to acquire now. And I can't even upgrade them because it requires dominating captains that are way higher than my current level so they're just sitting there idle in storage.
