Oh friend hope you are feeling better! Take care of yourself, your health is the number one priority as the little co-host needs you up and running. Your garden is coming along great!

Loved your update and you have a lot going on in your greenhouse. Get plenty of rest. The hot sun is not joke. I wear a huge hat with a large brim to block the sun. Only $5.00 bucks at target or you can even find them at the dollar store. I also, take a gallon of water out and put it in a bucket of ice. If the sun is too hot, then I will spend 1 hour and then go out in the evening for another hour or so. Blessing to you and get well soon... ♥ Peaches

Great advice!! I'll have to go to target/dollar store to see if they have anything to cover my big head!! I think evening gardening is the way to go!! Stay well!!

I hope you feel better soon Nika. I have weeded a few of my veg in the past too. It was sort of funny when you said you didn't want your plants to suffer then you immediately knocked one off the shelf. Get some rest. Best wishes Bob.

Oh man, you poor baby! I know you recovered because I just saw a more recent video, but like I said before, you live you learn! What a good hubby you have to take care of things with you.
Hey, did you get your trees from Burgess? They're a bad company. I think I bought from them twice and NOTHING lived.
Anyway, really nice tour even if we didn't get to see you planting beds. Be well, Nika.

We got the trees from The USA Nursery and I do not recommend them!! Lousy product and customer service!! Nothing lived AND they did not honor the 1 year replacement guarantee. Thank for the heads up on Burgess, I will not be patronize that company.

DevaJones03, thanks, sunburned on your lips, sorry, I'm trying not to giggle!, that's just wrong!! The pain is REAL!! What the heck? I grew up in Florida, played in the summer heat all day and NEVER had that issue. I was trying everything I could think of for that mystery plant it was in my onion seeds!! Turning the twigs (aka fruit trees) into charcoal for bbqing is a great idea!! Thanks so much for stopping by! Stay well!

I am not going to scold you for overdoing it, since I was just on semi-bed rest for a month due to over doing it. LOL, gardening brings it out in us I guess. But I will say this, please take care of your self. Perhaps we will both learn a lesson. :)

Desert Homesteader!!! There you are!! It seems like "Over Doing It" is our middle name!!! I've learned my lesson, it was a miserable existence that I do not wish to live again!! Take care of yourself and the little one and I'll be keeping you both in my prayers!! Stay well!!

Hello Nika, hopefully you're feeling better now. Yeah we CAN get sunburned. Is there a way you can vent the greenhouse for better air flow? Sorry about your trees. T

Hi Gardening Addict, I'm doing much better thanks for asking. Growing up in Florida I remember playing all day in the sun and NEVER having an issue.. (I guess those days a over!! LOL!!).. Right now the only ventilation for the green house is opening both the window and door. I'm currently looking into solar powered fans.. I haven't found anything budget friendly thus far but I will keep you posted.. Stay well!!!
