Me too! I don’t use the folding function much, but in the scenarios where I’d like to toss it in my soft case to transport to the range instead of the hardcase, it would be nice if it fit haha.
Awesome to hear, thank you for taking the time to watch, and letting me know it was worth while. Please let me know if there is anything else I can put out that you’d be interested in.
Hi Matt! I finally got my C4. I love it! Thanks to your video in helping me decide. Do you know how to remove to bag rider and add a picatinny rail instead? I tried but the bag rider won’t slide off completely. Help???
I will have to check it out I haven’t tried to do that myself, I’m out of town for a few weeks, but I’ll have to see if I can figure it out when I get back to my gun.
That’s basically what I had to do for this as well, there is still some kick but it is much more manageable to get back on target quickly to spot the rounds impacts.
@@matthewsolo5162 mine is at 26 lb. I recently switched from area 419 to Without Warning TMB.....good results so far. Still messing with tuner portion.
With all the weights and add-ons to the Whiskey 3 they were almost identical 22 lbs 14 ounces is the C4 the W3 was like 22lbs 8 ounces I think… not exact. But the weight distribution is 100% better on the C4, at least with my configurations. My W3 was super front heavy made it feel 30lbs.
Great vid , definitely needed since not much content out yet. Any thing you dislike or wish they do on update! Just sold my my whiskey 3 aswell and in market for new chassis again but price tag is definitely up there. Thanks in advance bub. Subscribed
As I get more hands on with it I will do a follow up. Out at a training venue all week, so I’ll be getting a good amount of training in. Will break down any pro’s or con’s I have not yet touched on very soon hopefully.
Thanks for the walk through Solo. I really like my W3 with the enclosed ARCA forend and my 26” barrel. I have 12” of barrel past the forend. Your C4 is pretty nice though… What length barrel do you have on this setup and how much barrel extends past the forend (if you don’t mind measuring). Thanks, Jim
I also loved my W3, and will probably have another run in the near future (by end of the year probably haha), I run a 24" barrel, and I will have to get back to you on how much extends past the for-end, I would imagine 8-10" off a guess, but I'll get you an exact measurement here shortly!
Not a problem, just needed to go grab the stuff, from top of the enclosed for-end to where the brake starts is 8-8.25 inches, and to the end of the muzzle brake is 11.25 inches (obviously brake dependent).
@@matthewsolo5162 ok cool man and thanks! So basically your forend extends about 2” further than the W3 enclosed forend. Very cool, great to know it’s not shorter.
Hey bud, one more question if you don’t mind. What tripod and head are you using in the video? Looks like a 2 Vets but not sure. I need to upgrade my Amazon rig. Lol
Just like any other attachment, they screws and fasteners fit in the slots like normal. Then you just have to rotate them 90 degrees and tighten them down so they pin the weights against the forend.
I agree to an extend it is definitely new, and I enjoy it, but from what I’ve noticed a lot of brands usually have similar traits for their rifles, so it kind of becomes a what brand features do you prefer. For me I really enjoy the features that KRG puts out. They work pretty well for me.
@@prone_wolf8871 I agree, but with they boys having the military background I don't think they could pass up the opportunity to name it C-4 haha. And I am not mad about it!
It’s definitely expensive I’ll never argue against that. As for the 17” vs 19”, I don’t particularly see a need for the extra length, I don’t have the arm- reach to pass the forend length so it doesn’t affect my performance being 2”s shorter, although I can see potential to add another weight set if you had the length. Is there any specific reason you prefer the longer?
Great review Matthew! I hope the will do this one in a folding version.

Really enjoy this video Matt helps me make my choice for my next chassis. Appreciate the time and work you do 🎉

Just picked one up literally the day they came out. It’s a well thought out chassis. It’s awesome.
I agree, I think I finally got it dialed in, took a few range trips to get used to the little differences from the W-3, but I am happy with it.

Good review.
I run a Matrix Pro.
Like it so far...but I have had to add every weight available to balance my 308.

Nice Rig!! I ordered the C4 cuz of your video. I need external weights too. I wish MPA didn't design them to look like dog biscuits.
Awesome, you CS. Look into Gray Ops CNC that’s the weights I use, they are pretty solid, haven’t had any issues with them!
Great video, KRG lists the C4 as two pounds heavier, with the spacer and Arca rail mounted on your whiskey3. How different was it actually?

Thanks for doing the video! Appreciate it
Of course, trying to help put the information before the credit card.
Cool video homie, keep bringing the content
Will do! Thanks for watching!

How do you run the Grey Ops weights pn the Mlok? I just order a C4

Whats the largest contour that chassis will hold ?
I’m not 100% positive but I have a competition contour on both my barrels that I throw in there.
Krg whiskey cheek rise is the most uncomfortable thing ever felt against my cheek bone. Get MDT or MPA
That’s just like your opinion… not everyone agrees with your cheek bone.
So basically it's an upgraded solid whiskey 3 lol....I like it but wish they made something new....

I think it's a nice chassis. But they could have just called it the whiskey 4 😆 is what I meant

"Good friend" but wont let you keep the chassis a few more hours for a video
I actually didn't ask him, and I procrastinated the video by a day, should have done it the night prior, so more or less it's my own fault haha.
Way overpriced, forend only 17”, others already went to 19”
