That entire album is a masterpiece. The lyrics are heavy, the vocals are insane, the drums are super heavy and the guitar work is just fantastic. I highly recommend buying the album.
Where would you rank it as far as their discography goes? I personally loved LTOTM but then tuned out following a good yet slightly disappointing TCBH.
@@tomk8350 LTOTM was so good, and it’s hard to beat that Album. I find that album pretty different from NWMG. I mean, NWMG has some collaborations that are really well done and the drums seem to be much heavier and there’s more tempo changes and such. It just seems like the band as a whole is more technically sound, and it was produced differently than LTOTM. The Big Sleep from NWMG is one of of my favorite songs off that album and it’s a good example.
I dunno, I mean LTOTM - that album is what gets a lot of TAA fans hooked. I’d put both those albums at the top of their best discography.
@@dagiggles2290 I just listened to it and yeah I think you hit the nail on the head. Great album not as good as LTOTM imo but still a contender for top 3 album or theirs. Choruses are still infectious as ever 😆
@@tomk8350 Hell yah. The lyrics are always so well written and unbelievably raw and exposed (as always with TAA) too.
A lot of bands are going heavier lately and I love it. Just look at the new veil of Maya
People were like, "Veil of Maya isn't heavy anymore, they suck now." and then they literally took a 180°.

i´m so glad they went heavy. I stopped listening in 2017 with all that D.I.E stuff, which was not my thing but it´s kinda cool, and to come back to this? Holy fuck, amazingly done.
The drumming and drum mixing on this "album" is top-notch. As a guitar player, I dont often notice drum mixing. But, on this "album," it is impossible not to notice how good it is.
They never disappoint.
Just gives of big glory days vibes. They were heavier and got softer. This is a nice shout out to Louie Knuxx, and a hark back to their earlier stuff.
The Amity Affliction is so good! They deserve all the hype!
